The City Budget Department spearheaded by the City Budget Officer, 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗚. 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗼, 𝗠𝗦𝗕𝗔, is currently conducting the 1st batch FY 2027 Barangay Budget Forum, with the full support and active participation of City Councilor and Liga ng mga Barangay President 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝗣. 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗮 and the respective Honorable Barangay officials. This initiative aims to continuously strengthen the capacity of Barangay Officials in the City of Butuan by enhancing their knowledge and skills in 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲, 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗔𝗜𝗣) 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁.

In this forum, each barangay was also informed of their corresponding National Tax Allotment (NTA) allocation for FY 2027, enabling them to effectively align their development priorities, programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) with their financial resources and ensure sound fiscal planning and responsible local governance.

𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙘 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝐅𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝙨𝙖 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝘿𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩

Malampusong gipahigayon sa City Budget Department ang Strategic Planning Activity and Workshop alang sa mga empleyado niadtong July 23, 2026. Ang maong kalihokan nagtumong sa hiniusang pag-andam ug pag-update sa City Budget Department Strategic Plan FY 2025–2034.

Kining strategic plan nakaugat sa mandato sa departamento ug sa kinatibuk-ang plano sa Dakbayan sa Butuan, aron masiguro nga ang direksyon sa opisina ug ang pagpatuman sa mga Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) hapsay, organisado, ug tukma sa mga prayoridad.

Pinaagi niini nga kalihokan, nakahatag kini og higayon sa mga empleyado nga mailhan ug masabtan ang kasamtangang mga challenges, issues, and trends nga nakaapekto sa operasyon sa departamento. Uban niini, nakamugna usab ang departamento tungod sa kooperasyon ug teamwork sa matag empleyado og mga angay nga estratehiya ug mga lakang aron mapalambo pa ang kalidad sa serbisyo publiko.

Gipasiugda usab sa workshop ang kahinungdanon sa pagpalig-on sa core values sa departamento nga Balance, Unity, Diligence, Growth, Efficiency, and Transparency (𝗕𝗨𝗗𝗚𝗘𝗧) isip pundasyon sa responsableng pagpangalagad ug maayong pangagamhanan.

Nagpadayon ang City Budget Department sa pag paningkamot nga makahatag og epektibo, episyente, ug responsable nga serbisyo publiko pinaagi sa usa ka strategic plan nga mosuporta sa padayon nga kalamboan sa Dakbayan sa Butuan.

𝗔𝗧𝗠: 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The City Budget Department is currently conducting the Budget Forum for the Sangguniang Kabataan FY 2027 Budget Preparation, highlighting the importance of the Planning-Budget Linkage in crafting programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) that address the needs of the youth.

This initiative strengthens the capacity of SK officials to align their priorities with Sustainable Development Goals, The Philippine Youth Development Plan, and Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan, ensuring effective and accountable governance for their respective communities.

Pinaagi sa City Budget Department, gitigom sa Siyudad sa Butuan niadtong July 2, 2026 sa Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall ang mga stakeholders, lakip ang Honorable City Mayor, Atty. Lawrence Lemuel H. Fortun, Honorable City Vice Mayor Reynante B. Desiata, mga miyembro sa 17th Sangguniang Panlungsod, ug mga opisyal sa City Government of Butuan alang sa Budget Forum para sa FY 2027.

Gisugdan kini sa paglatag ni Hon. Mayor Fortun sa direksyon ug mga prayoridad para sa Budget for FY 2027, diin gitagaan ug dakong importansya ang Health, Education, Water Supply, and Infrastructure projects, among others.

Gitagaan usab ug emphasis ni City Budget Officer, Mila G. Busico, MSBA, nga kining tinuig nga Budget Forum ug Budget Preparation, dili lamang basta pag-compute og mga numero ug paglista sa gustong pamaliton, kundili ang pagbalanse sa unlimited needs ug limited resources. "Every peso we allocate must yield concrete results that are felt by the community we serve, and that no one is left behind." Pahayag niya.

Gisundan kini sa pag-presentar sa Updates sa Annual Investment Program sa Dakbayan, pinaagi ni Acting City Planning and Development Coordinator Engr. Jake Bonn C. Dumpasan; Projected Income for FY 2027 pinaagi ni Acting City Treasurer Corazon F. German; Actual Expenditures pinaagi ni Acting City Accountant Maria Christine D. Balinos, CPA; Salient Features of DBM LBC No. 94 and Guidelines on the Preparation of the 2027 Annual Budgets of LGUs pinaagi ni Jackielou N. Arnon, Acting Division Head, Budget Preparation Division; ug ang Report on Recruitment Updates, pinaagi ni Kharen Jane D. Maraasin, Division Head, Talent Acquisition and Labor Relations Division, CHRMD.

Kini nga forum usa ka higayon para sa makahuluganon nga panaghisgot, pagpakita sa transparency, ug panagtinabangay nga pagplano samtang gitakda sa Siyudad ang mga prayoridad alang sa umaabot nga Fiscal Year. Nagpamatuod kini sa determinasyon sa Butuan nga magpadayon sa responsive, participatory, ug accountable nga panggobyerno, aron masiguro nga ang mga public resources igo alang sa panginahanglan ug pangandoy sa matag Butuanon.

The City Government of Butuan, through the City Budget Department, convened stakeholders for the FY 2027 Budget Forum — a venue for dialogue, transparency, and collaborative budgeting as the City charts its priorities for the coming fiscal year. The forum reaffirms Butuan’s commitment to responsive, participatory, and accountable governance, ensuring that public resources are aligned with the needs and aspirations of every Butuanon.
