𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝟰𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗠 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆

“𝘈𝘯𝘨 𝘐𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘨 𝘯𝘢 𝘛𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘣𝘶𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘓𝘢𝘢𝘯𝘨-𝘒𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘭”—a call for strong and committed blood donors—is being put into action on August 15, 2026, as Army personnel, reservists, and ROTC cadets under 15RCDG, and civilian volunteers across Caraga unite in a simultaneous blood donation drive to give hope and help save lives.

As of 2:30 PM, the region-wide humanitarian initiative, held in celebration of the 43rd RESCOM Founding Anniversary, has already gathered more than 1,000 donors across Caraga, with the activity continuing throughout the day at the following locations:

📍Robinsons Place Butuan City
📍Provincial Learning Center, Government Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur
📍Informatic Technological College of San Francisco Covered Court, San Francisco, Agusan del Sur
📍SNSU Main Campus
📍Teatro, Dapa, Surigao del Norte
📍Telaje Covered Court, Tandag City
📍Municipal Gym, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur
📍OPCEN, Sta. Cruz, San Jose, Dinagat Islands

The blood donation drive is being conducted in collaboration with the Caraga Regional Hospital, Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center, Philippine Red Cross–Butuan, Philippine Red Cross–Agusan del Sur, and Siargao Island Medical Center.

More than an anniversary activity, the initiative demonstrates how the collective participation of soldiers, reservists, cadets, and civilian volunteers becomes an opportunity to directly support the community into meaningful action—the availability of blood for personnel, dependents, reservists, cadets, and civillians who may need it at any time.

With more than 1,000 donors already recorded and the activity still ongoing, Caraga continues to answer the call.

Because service does not always begin with a mission order. Sometimes, it begins by rolling up a sleeve, giving what we can, and knowing that somewhere, somehow, that simple act may give someone another chance at life.

The Reserve Command, Philippine Army (RESCOM, PA) extends its warmest congratulations to Lt. Gen. Donald M. Gumiran on his assumption as the 68th Commanding General of the Philippine Army.

As he assumes the mantle of leadership, the officers, enlisted personnel, civil human resource, reservists, and ROTC Cadets of RESCOM, PA stand united in support of his command and vision for a stronger, more capable, and mission-ready Philippine Army. Inspired by the enduring values of honor, patriotism, and duty, RESCOM, PA remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting the nation and serving the Filipino people.
