📢 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀

In view of the prevailing high heat index in Butuan City, the mandatory wearing of the prescribed school uniform is temporarily suspended, effective August 13, 2026, until further notice.

During this period, learners may wear decent, comfortable, and appropriate civilian attire in accordance with the University's dress code as provided in the Student Handbook.
Learners are reminded to:

• Continue wearing the prescribed school ID while on campus.
• Wear the required PE or MAPEH uniform when specifically required for classes or activities.
• Bring an extra shirt to change into, especially after sweating or engaging in physical activities.
• Continue observing the University's dress code and standards for proper attire.

This temporary measure is intended to help ensure the comfort, health, and safety of our learners during the prevailing hot weather.

Everyone, as temperatures continue to rise, please remember to stay hydrated throughout the day. Drink plenty of water, take regular breaks when needed, and avoid prolonged exposure to the heat. Stay cool, stay safe, and keep hydrated!

Language and History Month 2026

“Crafted by the People, Driven by the Waves: Filipino Language and AI in Expanding Knowledge, Honesty in Mission, and Spreading Hope.”

The Filipino language is an important part of our lives. It is the language we use to express our thoughts, share our knowledge, and preserve our culture and identity as Filipinos.
In today's world, we also use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help in learning and discovering new knowledge. But more than technology, honesty, accountability, and the proper use of knowledge are still important.

As part of Father Saturnino Urios University (FSUU), let us together use language and technology in a good way to learn, help others, and be part of the progress of our community in Caraga and the whole country.

𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗨𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲!

Our Kindergarten learners had a wonderful opportunity to discover the wonders of the library through a meaningful Library Tour last Monday, July 27, 2026. They explored the library, learned its importance, and discovered the joy of books and reading.

It was a simple yet memorable experience that encouraged curiosity and nurtured their love for learning.

𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗽𝘆 𝟰𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗗𝗮𝘆!

The Basic Education Library celebrated the 43rd National Children's Book Day through three interactive storytelling sessions for our Kindergarten pupils.

The young learners listened to the timeless tale of "The Turtle and the Hare," enjoying a fun and meaningful storytelling experience that fostered imagination, good values, and a love for reading.

Thank you to our Kindergarten pupils for making this celebration truly special. See you at our next storytelling session!

As of July 20, 2026, the university has resumed the implementation of the four-day workweek for energy sustainability.

For the Basic Education Department, please be advised that classes and office transactions will be from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Thursday. There will be no classes and office transactions on Saturdays.

Please be guided accordingly, Urians, and thank you as always for your cooperation!
