P53.59-M gigahin alang 5 eskwelahan sa probinsya

Mokabat sa P53.59 milyon ang pundo nga igahin sa lokal nga panggamhanang probinsyal ngadto sa Department of Education (DepEd) para sa pagtukod ug pagpauswag sa mga pasilidad sa lima ka eskwelahan sa probinsiya.

Apil sa mga proyekto ang pagtukod og bag-ong mga classroom nga adunay bundled school furniture sa Linao-Linao Elementary School sa Buenavista, Hinandayan Integrated School ug Minbahandi Elementary School sa Nasipit, Sacol National High School sa Buenavista, ug Agay National High School sa Remedios T. Romualdez (RTR).

Sa Hinandayan Integrated School, gi-prayoridad ang drainage ug protection works tungod sa risgo sa scouring ug landslide panahon sa kusog nga pag-ulan.

Samtang, ang proyekto alang sa Agay National High School i-redirect ngadto sa tulo ka laing priority schools human mipasalig ang Okada Foundation, Inc. sa pagtukod og 20 ka classrooms sa maong eskwelahan.

Gihatagan og awtoridad si Governor Ma. Angelica Rosedell M. Amante nga mopirma sa Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) uban sa DepEd alang sa implementasyon sa Basic Education Facilities Program (BEFP), ubos sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 363-2026, nga gipangulohan ni Board Member Ryan Jade D. Lim, kauban sila Board Members Rey G. Jamboy ug Rodulfo A. Pitogo.

𝐑𝐓𝐅-𝐄𝐋𝐂𝐀𝐂 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲

The Caraga Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) held its Full Council Meeting today, August 27, 2026, at Oazis Hotel, Butuan City, bringing together government agencies, local government units, security forces, and other stakeholders to strengthen coordination for peace, security, and sustainable development.

The meeting focused on assessing the regional peace and security situation, reviewing the implementation of programs and projects, addressing emerging challenges, and identifying strategic action points to sustain peace gains and improve government service delivery in conflict-affected and vulnerable communities.

One of the highlight of the activity also was the meet-and-greet with the new Caraga Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security (CORDS), Department of Agriculture Secretary Francisco P. Tiu-Laurel Jr., who was represented by DA Assistant Secretary James Arandila Layug.

Also present was NTF-ELCAC Executive Director Usec. Danilo P. Pamonag, together with Director Arnulfo Ferdinand Bajarin.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the RTF-ELCAC and its partner agencies to sustain the gains under the region’s State of Internal Peace and Security (SIPS) and advance inclusive and sustainable development across Caraga.
