September 21, 2026 | ๐—›๐—ผ๐—ป. ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—š๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ง. ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฐ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ผ attended the 3rd Quarter CY 2026 Joint Meeting of the City Peace and Order Council (CPOC) and City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), joining representatives from various government offices and partner agencies in discussions concerning the cityโ€™s peace and order, public safety, and anti-drug efforts.

The meeting provided an avenue for concerned stakeholders to share updates, discuss current concerns, and strengthen coordination in addressing issues affecting the safety and security of the community.

Through sustained inter-agency cooperation and active participation in these efforts, the City continues to work toward maintaining peace, order, and a safer environment for all Butuanons.

The Committee considered City Health Board Resolution No. 18, Series of 2026, concerning the utilization of the PhilHealth TB DOTS Outpatient Benefit Package reimbursement.

It also deliberated on four proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOAs): between the City Government of Butuan (CGB) and the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) for โ‚ฑ1,000,000.00 in financial assistance for health programs; between the CGB and DOH-CHD Caraga for the implementation of iClinicSys; between the CGB and Manuel J. Santos Hospital for outsourced laboratory and radiological services for BMC patients; and between the CGB and DOH for the deployment of Doctors to the Barrio (DTTB).

The deliberations form part of the Committeeโ€™s continuing efforts to strengthen healthcare access, hospital support services, health information systems, and community-based medical services for the people of Butuan City.

September 9, 2026 | The City Government of Butuan continues to strengthen healthcare services as the Joint City Health Board, Local Nutrition Committee, and HIV/AIDS Council held its 3rd Quarter Joint Meeting on September 8, 2026, with Hon. Theodore Gabriel T. Salcedo temporarily presiding.

The meeting focused on key measures aimed at improving healthcare delivery, including the proposed expansion of Primary Care Provider Networks from 15 to 17 Health Districts, strengthening access to primary healthcare services across the city.

Also highlighted was the institutionalization of the Local Investment Plan for Health (LIPH) 2026โ€“2028, which will guide the City's health priorities and investments, alongside the proposed institutionalization of the FHSIS Unit to strengthen health data management and evidence-based planning.

The body likewise discussed the Butuan City Family Planning Program Plan 2025โ€“2030, providing a strategic framework for sustaining and improving family planning services.

These initiatives reflect Butuan's continuing commitment to building a more accessible, coordinated, and responsive healthcare systemโ€”bringing quality health services closer to every Butuanon.
