📣 Sino ang Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK)?

Ang Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) ay binubuo ng lahat ng kabataang Pilipino sa bawat barangay na:

✅ Nakatira sa barangay nang hindi bababa sa 6 na buwan
✅ May edad 15 hanggang 30 taong gulang
✅ At rehistrado sa listahan ng botante ng COMELEC at/o nasa listahan ng KK na hawak ng SK Secretary
Ano ang papel ng KK?

1️⃣ Sila ang bumoboto para sa: 1 SK Chairperson
at Pitong (7) SK Kagawad

👉 Lahat ng kabataang kasama sa listahan ng SK voters ng COMELEC ay kwalipikadong bumoto.

2️⃣ Sila ang pinakamataas na policy-making body pagdating sa mga usaping kabataan sa barangay.

Ibig sabihin:

Ang SK ay dapat kumonsulta at kumuha ng pagsang-ayon ng mayorya ng KK (na may quorum) sa paggawa at pag-apruba ng mga:
👉 Plano
👉 Programa
👉 Proyekto at aktibidad para sa kabataan
Tulad ng CBYDP at ABYIP
🤔 Sa madaling sabi:

Ang KK ang puso at boses ng kabataan sa barangay. Hindi lang sila botante — sila ay dapat kasama sa pagdedesisyon kung anong direksyon ang tatahakin ng SK.

Benchmarking Visit | Committee on Culture and the Arts
Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur | August 7, 2025

As part of our continuous efforts to strengthen cultural development in our municipality, the Committee on Culture and the Arts conducted a benchmarking activity in the Municipality of Lapuyan, where Cultural Mapping is already at the stage of finalization and publication.

This initiative is in line with one of the top priorities under the executive agenda of Hon. Dionesia Becada-Lagas—the preservation, promotion, and institutionalization of local culture and heritage.

We extend our gratitude to Sir Francis Duhaylungsod, Cultural Affairs Coordinator of Lapuyan, for the warm welcome and for generously sharing their experiences and processes in implementing cultural mapping.

We also thank the representative from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) for accommodating our delegation and answering all our queries regarding national frameworks and support mechanisms.

This exchange of knowledge will serve as a valuable guide as we embark on our own cultural mapping journey and heritage programs in the municipality.

Today, I turn 60 officially a senior citizen! 😄
And my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

First and foremost, thank You, Lord, for the gift of life, for 60 years of blessings, lessons, and love. I wouldn't be here without Your constant grace and guidance.

On behalf of the Sangguniang Bayan Secretary’s Office, we express our sincere gratitude to Mayor Dionesia B. Lagas for the opportunity to be part of the CSC Ethics and Accountability Training held yesterday at the Municipality of Ipil, ECJM Hall, Roderic's Resort Taway Ipil Heights. Selected representatives from various departments of the Municipality of Buug, including the SB Secretary’s Office, participated in the training, with Atty. Mario Jose T. Cunting as the distinguished resource speaker. The training served as a valuable reminder for all government employees to consistently practice ethical conduct, integrity, and accountability in public service.
