𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) acknowledges the concerns of applicants who proceeded to the NBI Clearance Center - United Nations Avenue, Manila, on 20 August 2026, following the announcement of the resumption of on-site clearance operations.

The NBI Clearance Center – United Nations Avenue, Manila, resumed clearance services under the alternative work arrangement provided under Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 131. As a result, the clearance center was operating with a limited number of personnel while continuing to serve the transacting public.

The resumption of operations resulted in a significant influx of applicants. For everyone's safety and orderly processing, entry to the clearance processing area had to be regulated based on available personnel and operational capacity to prevent overcrowding.

Despite these limitations, NBI clearance processing continued throughout the operational period, and all applicants admitted inside the premises were accommodated, and their applications were completed and processed.

The NBI has since taken appropriate measures to strengthen personnel coordination, crowd and queue management, and public information to better manage applicant volume under similar circumstances.

We sincerely thank all affected applicants for their patience, understanding, and cooperation.

The safety and welfare of the transacting public and our clearance personnel remain our utmost concern.

In line with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 129 dated August 18, 2026, and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, please be informed that there will be 𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗡𝗕𝗜 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 tomorrow, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, in the following affected areas:

National Capital Region (NCR) and the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro.

Applicants are encouraged to accomplish their NBI Clearance online registration during the suspension of onsite operations.

Onsite NBI Clearance processing in the affected areas will resume on the next regular working day, unless otherwise advised.

This applies to the National Capital Region (NCR) and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, and Occidental Mindoro.

Applicants are advised to complete their onsite NBI Clearance transactions on or before 12:00 NN today. Online registration will remain available through the NBI Clearance website.

Onsite NBI Clearance processing in the affected areas will resume on the next regular working day, unless otherwise advised.

𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬: The date on the Oath of Undertaking must match the date on your Barangay Certification.

𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝: The document must be dated within the last one (1) year, as it automatically expires after 12 months.

National Capital Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Zambales, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Nueva Vicaya, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna and Occidental Mindoro.

Regular operations will resume on Friday, August 07, 2026.
