Charlie Company of the 301 RRIBn Holds Mustering Activity in Llanera, Nueva Ecija

Llanera, Nueva Ecija — June 28, 2026. Charlie Company of the 301st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (301 RRIBn), under the overall command of LTC Misael J. De Vera, GSC PA (Res), conducted its Mustering Activity at the Senior Citizen Building, Barangay Victoria, Llanera, Nueva Ecija.

The event was actively participated in by 60 reservists of Charlie Company, led by their Commanding Officer, 2LT Joy C. Mananing, PA (Res). Officers and staff of the 301 RRIBn, together with personnel from the 301st Community Defense Center (301 CDC), were also present, further strengthening the collaborative spirit of the activity. The mustering served as a vital exercise to reaffirm the unit’s readiness, discipline, and commitment to service, while fostering camaraderie among its members.

The Guest of Honor and Speaker was LTC Ron Michael M. Soriao (INF) PA, Director of the 301st Community Defense Center, 3rd RCDG, RESCOM, PA, who delivered an inspiring message emphasizing the indispensable role of reservists in community empowerment and national defense. His presence highlighted the Philippine Army’s dedication to nurturing its reserve force as a pillar of resilience and service.

Adding distinction to the occasion, Llanera Vice Mayor Ronnie Roy Pascual graced the activity, expressing his support for the reservists and recognizing their contributions to both local governance and national security. His attendance underscored the strong partnership between the local government and the Philippine Army Reserve Force.

301st RRIBn and 301st CDC Join Founding Anniversary of General Mamerto Natividad

General Mamerto Natividad, Nueva Ecija — June 22, 2026.
The 301st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (301 RRIBn) under LTC Misael J. De Vera, GSC PA (Res), together with the 301st Community Defense Center (301st CDC) led by LTC Ron Michael M. Soriao (INF) PA, Director of the 301st and 307th CDC, 3RCDG, RESCOM, PA, joined the municipality’s Founding Anniversary celebration, standing at the forefront of the commemorative rites. Their participation underscored the enduring partnership between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and local government units in preserving history and promoting civic pride.

The solemn program, held at the newly constructed pedestal monument of General Mamerto Natividad, honored the town’s heroic namesake. Local officials, military leaders, descendants of the general, and civic organizations gathered to pay tribute, reflecting unity across civilian and military sectors. The ceremonies opened with an ecumenical prayer led by religious leaders, followed by the unveiling of the monument and marker, a wreath-laying ceremony, and a 21-gun salute rendered by the 48th Infantry Battalion.
Municipal Mayor Hon. Hilario “Larry” S. Ponce, Provincial Governor Hon. Aurelio “Oyie” M. Umali, and MGEN Joseph Norwin D. Pasamonte PA, Commander of the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, were represented by Colonel Racci Sotto, who served as Guest of Honor and Speaker as well as Military Host during the wreath-laying. BGEN Eugenio Julio C. Osias IV, Commander of the 703rd Infantry (Agila) Brigade, also joined the rites. Descendants of General Mamerto Natividad, represented by Ms. Malou Natividad Capati and Ms. Aleth Natividad Alvarez, delivered heartfelt messages that connected the general’s legacy to the present generation.

The 301st RRIBn and 301st CDC stood in solidarity with the community, symbolizing the Reserve Force’s commitment not only to national defense but also to civic duty, historical remembrance, and cultural preservation. Their presence highlighted the vital role of reservists in community-building and sustaining patriotic traditions. MGEN Pasamonte delivered an inspiring message on patriotism and resilience, while Vice Mayor Hon. Samson C. Caberto III offered closing remarks. The program concluded with the singing of the Natividad Hymn led by the LGU Choir.
The participation of the 301st RRIBn and 301st CDC reinforced the spirit of unity between the military and civilian sectors, ensuring that the legacy of General Mamerto Natividad continues to inspire future generations.

301 CDC and 301 RRIBn Join the Commemoration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day in Nueva Ecija

The 301st Community Defense Center (301 CDC) under the supervision of LTC Ron Michael M. Soriao (INF) PA, Director of the 301st and 307th CDC, 3RCDG, RESCOM, PA, together with the 301st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (301 RRIBn) under the command of LTC Misael J. De Vera, GSC PA (Res), simultaneously participated in the commemoration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day across Nueva Ecija.

Honoring Independence at NEUST
At the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), 301 CDC personnel led by MMSg Dennis M. Mendoza (Arm) PA, Chief Clerk, and SSg Renon Z. Torrefranca (Inf) PA, Operations NCO, 301 CDC, 3RCDG, RESCOM, PA, supervised the 21-Gun Salute in honor of the heroism of Filipinos who fought for independence in 1898.

Twelve reservists from the 301 RRIBn joined the activity alongside the NEUST ROTC Unit, headed by Colonel Isauro Palmaria, PA (RES). Other 301 reservist officers present during the celebration included LTC Venus A. Vitales, PA (RES) and LTC Ma. Salvacion Collado, PA (RES), ROTC Coordinator of NEUST. The program was highlighted by a wreath-laying ceremony and messages from NEUST officials led by Dr. Rhodora R. Jugo.

Community Celebrations in Rizal and Llanera
Beyond NEUST, the commemoration extended to the municipalities of Rizal and Llanera, where members of Charlie Company, 301 RRIBn, under the leadership of 2Lt Joy C. Mananing PA (Res), joined the Independence Day festivities together with 15 enlisted reservists and fellow officers 1Lt Marjery M. Gogotano PA (Res) and 2Lt Joy C. Mananing PA (Res).

In Rizal, Nueva Ecija, the celebration was spearheaded by Mayor Trina L. Andres and Vice Mayor Lito V. Andres, while in Llanera, Nueva Ecija, the program was graced by Mayor Marilou Pascual and Vice Mayor Ronnie Roy Pascual. These parallel activities underscored the strong partnership between the Army Reserve Force and local government units in honoring the nation’s independence.

STRENGTHENING BONDS THROUGH MOBILIZATION AND FELLOWSHIP

A Social Night of Mobilization Exercise and Joint Integration was held on 05 June 2026 at the Battalion Retraining Facility, Fort Magsaysay, Palayan City, Nueva Ecija, bringing together officers, reservists, and community partners in a spirit of unity and collaboration.
The event was graced by LTC Patricia Carol Howell, Commander of the 3301st Mobilization Battalion, 3rd MSC, together with her team from Alaska, United States of America. She delivered the keynote message, emphasizing solidarity and cooperation across borders. LTC Ron Michael M Soriao, Director of the 301st and 307th Community Defense Centers, opened the program with welcome remarks. Intermission numbers from Salaknib participants of the 301st and 307th CDC added vibrance to the evening, while fellowship activities, singing, and dancing accompanied by a live band further strengthened camaraderie among attendees.
The 301st Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn), under the command of LTC Misael J De Vera, GSC PA (Res), was represented by staff officers: LTC Noel M Londerio PA (Res), LTC Venus A Vitales PA (Res), LTC Ma. Benita R Estrera PA (Res), 1LT Karengrace M Ramos PA (Res), and 2LT Joy C Mananing PA (Res). Also present was Maj. Edward A Pineda PA (Res), Battalion Commander of the 307th RRIBn.
The gathering highlighted moments of camaraderie and genuine enjoyment shared by both Filipino and American participants. Beyond the formal proceedings, the fellowship underscored the enduring value of collaboration, cultural exchange, and collective service in strengthening bonds across communities and nations.
