𝟮𝟭 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-The Fires School, Individual Training Group, Education and Training Command, Philippine Army, successfully conducted the Closing Ceremony of the Field Artillery Career Courses held at Fires School Modular Classroom Camp Bgen Manuel B Tinio, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The ceremony marked the successful completion of the Field Artillery Officer Basic Course Class 11-2026, Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Advance Course Class 70-2026, and Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Basic Course Class 114-2026 a significant milestone in the professional development of the Philippine Army’s future field artillery officers and non-commissioned officers.

𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗝𝗙 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗜 𝗚 𝗚𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗢 𝗔𝗥𝗧 (𝗠𝗡𝗦𝗔) 𝗣𝗔, Commandant, Artillery Training School, Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. In his message, he underscored the vital importance of continuous professional development, discipline, competence, and effective leadership in building highly capable, adaptive, and professional artillerymen and in further strengthening the Philippine Army’s artillery capabilities.

The graduates were recognized for their perseverance, dedication, and commitment in successfully completing the demanding requirements of their respective courses. And as they return to their respective units and assume greater responsibilities, they are expected to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and contribute meaningfully to the continued advancement of the Artillery Regiment and the accomplishment of the Philippine Army’s mission.

𝟮𝟬 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲- The Fires School, Individual Training Group, Education and Training Command, Philippine Army, conducted the Awarding and Pinning of AFPOS Badge of Field Artillery Career Courses for the 2nd Training Period 2026 with BGEN HUBERT S ACIERTO PA, Commander, Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army as the Guest of Honor and Speaker held at Camp Tinio, Cabanatuan City.

The program highlighted the awarding of certificates for the outstanding performances of the students of Field Artillery Officer Basic Course Class 11-2026, Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officers Advance Course Class 70-2026 and Field Artillery Non-Commissioned Officer Basic Course Class 114-2026. It also featured the pinning of the Artillery Armed Forces of the Philippines Occupational Specialty (AFPOS) Badge to the students of the basic courses, symbolizing their successful completion of the required training and their commitment to the field artillery profession.

Finally, the activity underscored the Education and Training Command’s continuing efforts to develop competent, disciplined, and professional Field Artillery Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers who are prepared to fulfill their duties and contribute to the operational readiness of the Philippine Army.

𝟮𝟬 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-The Commander, Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army, BGEN HUBERT S ACIERTO PA was formally inducted into the Fires School Artillery Walk of Fame at Camp BGen Manuel B Tinio, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The induction recognizes the distinguished service, leadership, and valuable contributions to the development and advancement of the Philippine Army’s artillery capabilities. His dedication to duty and commitment to professional excellence have contributed significantly to the continued growth of the Artillery Regiment and the professionalization of its personnel.

The Artillery Walk of Fame serves as a lasting tribute to officers who have demonstrated exemplary leadership and made meaningful contributions to the artillery community and symbolizes the respect and appreciation of his fellow artillerymen for his service and accomplishments, leadership, competence, dedication, and service to the nation.

𝟭𝟴 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-The Acting Commander of Education and Training Command, Philippine Army, BGEN LENNON G BABILONIA PA visited the Fires School, Individual Training Group, Training Command, Philippine Army at Camp Tinio, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

During the visit and talk to troops, BGEN BABILONIA emphasized the vital role of quality training and continuous professional development in enhancing the competence, discipline, and operational readiness of Philippine Army personnel. He underscored the importance of maintaining high training standards to ensure that soldiers are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to meet the demands of an evolving operational environment.

The visit further highlighted the command’s commitment to strengthening individual training and developing highly capable, disciplined, and mission-ready soldiers who can effectively contribute to the accomplishment of the Philippine Army’s mission.

𝟭𝟳 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲-The Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Training G8, Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army led by LTC CANDELARIO M PITOGO (ART) PA, Deputy G8, and head of the Technical Working Group visited the Fires School, Individual Training Group, Education and Training Command, Philippine Army at Camp Tinio, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The visit focused on the development of the Program of Instruction (POI) and Learning Management Package (LMP) for the Organization Training and In-House Training of the Ground-Launched Missile Battalion, Air Defense Artillery Battalion, and Air Defense and Missile Training School of the Artillery Regiment, Philippine Army.

The activity also underscores the importance of developing relevant, standardized, and competency-based training programs that are responsive to the evolving operational requirements of the Artillery Regiment. Through this collaborative effort, the concerned units aim to strengthen instructional systems and enhance the readiness and proficiency of personnel in air defense and missile operations.

The Fires School, Individual Training Group, Education and Training Command, Philippine Army welcomed CPT DOMINIC LLOYD and Sgt Connor Smith of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) on 17 August 2026 at Camp Bgen Manuel B Tinio, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

The visit was part of the Philippine Army’s Embedded Programs with Australian Defense Force. CPT LLOYD and Sgt Smith also delivered lectures to Field Artillery students on valuable knowledge, operational insights, and practical perspectives on the employment of Field Artillery in contemporary operations. The engagement fostered professional knowledge exchange, broadened the students’ understanding of artillery operations, and contributed to their continuing professional development.

More importantly, the activity strengthened the spirit of military cooperation and interoperability between the Philippine Army and the Australian Defence Force, reflecting the shared commitment of both organizations to developing competent, capable, and professionally prepared artillery personnel.
