After 38 years of dedicated government service, Ms. Mina Flor T. Villafuerte, Chief of the Administrative and Finance Division of DICT Region 2, begins a well-deserved new chapter in her life.
For nearly four decades, Ma’am Mina has given her time, knowledge, and dedication to public service. Through the years, she has been a reliable leader, a supportive colleague, and an important part of the DICT Region 2 family.

But beyond the work she accomplished and the responsibilities she carried, Ma’am Mina’s greatest legacy is the impact she has made on the people around her. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand have touched many lives. The warmth she shared, the guidance she gave, and the simple moments of care and understanding will remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of working alongside her.

As she steps into retirement, we celebrate a remarkable career and the meaningful difference she has made.

Paano nga ba nakapagbibigay ng internet ang isang pick-up vehicle sa gitna ng sakuna? 📡🛻
Sa ikalawang bahagi ng Government Emergency Communications System - Mobile Operations Vehicle for Emergencies (GECS-MOVE) tour, kilalanin ang Dispatch Vehicle ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) na isa sa mga emergency communications assets na binanggit ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa kanyang 2026 State of the Nation Address (SONA).
🎥 Panoorin sina DICT Secretary Henry Aguda at Engr. Yancee Kearvin Kyle Rafer ng DICT Region II habang ipinapakita nila ang mga communications equipment na nasa loob at labas ng Dispatch Vehicle.
Ang 4×4 utility vehicle na ito ay mabilis na naipapadala sa mga lugar na apektado ng kalamidad upang maghatid ng emergency communications at palawakin ang saklaw ng koneksyon.
Hindi lang ito isang sasakyan. Isa itong lifeline na naghahatid ng komunikasyon at koordinasyon sa mga lugar na apektado ng sakuna.

Sa bawat pagbisita, pagpupulong, at paglulunsad ng mga programa, muling pinagtibay ang iisang layunin ng DICT na maghatid ng mas mabilis, mas maaasahan, at mas inklusibong serbisyong digital para sa bawat Pilipino. Sa pangunguna ni Assistant Secretary at Regional Director Engr. Pinky T. Jimenez, taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang DICT Region 2 sa kanyang patuloy na suporta at inspirasyong ibinahagi sa buong rehiyon.

Lubos na nagpapasalamat ang DICT Region 2 sa pangunguna ni Assistant Secretary at Regional Director Engr. Pinky T. Jimenez kay DICT Secretary Henry R. Aguda sa kanyang makabuluhang pagbisita sa rehiyon at sa masiglang pakikiisa sa sunod-sunod na aktibidad. Sa kabila ng napakasiksik na iskedyul, hindi nawala ang kanyang sigla, ngiti, at dedikasyon sa pagsusulong ng digital transformation para sa bawat Pilipino.

📍 Day 1
✅ Launching of the GovNet Ilagan City and Free Wi-Fi for All Program, expanding connectivity for government offices and communities.
✅ Ceremonial Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Usufruct Agreement for the proposed DICT site in Ilagan City, followed by an ocular inspection of the property to be donated by the City Government of Ilagan.
✅ Visit to the CEZA Spaceport Site to explore opportunities for innovation and emerging technologies.
✅ Courtesy Visit with Governor Edgar "Tatay Egay" Aglipay and local officials to discuss strategic collaborations for digital transformation in Cagayan Valley.
✅ Occular visit to the Regional Government Center Digital Transformation Center and proposed DICT Regional Office 2 building.

📍 Day 2
✅ Courtesy Visit to Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus, including student engagement and signal audit of the Free Public Internet Access Program.
✅ Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and tour of the eLGU Training Center and Digital Transformation Center at the DICT Regional 2 Office.
✅ Review of DICT Region 2's disaster readiness, including the MOVE Set, Government Emergency Communications System (GECS), dispatch vehicle, and other emergency response assets.

Isang makabuluhan at masiglang dalawang araw ang ibinahagi ni DICT Secretary Henry R. Aguda sa Region 2. Sa bawat pagbisita, pagpupulong, at paglulunsad ng mga programa, muling pinagtibay ang iisang layunin ng DICT na maghatid ng mas mabilis, mas maaasahan, at mas inklusibong serbisyong digital para sa bawat Pilipino. Sa pangunguna ni Assistant Secretary at Regional Director Engr. Pinky T. Jimenez, taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang DICT Region 2 sa kanyang patuloy na suporta at inspirasyong ibinahagi sa buong rehiyon. Sa kabila ng napakasiksik na iskedyul, hindi nawala ang kanyang sigla, ngiti, at dedikasyon sa pagsusulong ng digital transformation para sa bawat Pilipino.

✅ Launching of the GovNet Ilagan City and Free Wi-Fi for All Program, expanding connectivity for government offices and communities.
✅ Ceremonial Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Usufruct Agreement for the proposed DICT site in Ilagan City, followed by an ocular inspection of the property to be donated by the City Government of Ilagan.
✅ Visit to the CEZA Spaceport Site to explore opportunities for innovation and emerging technologies.
✅ Courtesy Visit with Governor Edgar "Tatay Egay" Aglipay and local officials to discuss strategic collaborations for digital transformation in Cagayan Valley.
✅ Occular visit to the Regional Government Center Digital Transformation Center and proposed DICT Regional Office 2 building.

📍 Day 2
✅ Courtesy Visit to Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus, including student engagement and signal audit of the Free Public Internet Access Program.
✅ Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and tour of the eLGU Training Center and Digital Transformation Center at the DICT Regional 2 Office.
✅ Review of DICT Region 2's disaster readiness, including the MOVE Set, Government Emergency Communications System (GECS), dispatch vehicle, and other emergency response assets.
