Semi-Annual Consultative Meeting on the Field Health Service Information System (FHSIS)

To further strengthen health data management and streamline reporting systems across the province, the Semi-Annual Consultative Meeting on the Field Health Service Information System (FHSIS) was successfully convened.

Funded by the Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO) and skillfully facilitated by Provincial FHSIS Coordinator, ma'am Sheryl Rosales, the gathering served as a vital platform to align public and private health sectors toward more efficient and accurate health information reporting.

​The session drew key healthcare stakeholders and implementers from across the network, including:
-​Provincial FHSIS Coordinators
-​Municipal Health Officers (MHOs)
-​Hospital Focals and Animal Bite Treatment -Center (ABTC) Focals from various hospitals and MHOs
-​Birthing Managers and dedicated staff from private birthing clinics

The key highlights & discussions included
👉🏿​Program Updates: Participants were oriented on the latest developments, directives, and policy directions concerning the FHSIS program.

👉🏿​Functionality Assessment: Comprehensive guidelines were introduced regarding the systematic assessment of FHSIS functionality to ensure optimal performance across facilities.

👉🏿Submission Timeline & Workflow: Clear reporting pathways and standardized submission schedules were thoroughly discussed to ensure synchronized data flow among all participating health facilities.

👉🏿​Inter-Facility Collaboration: The session emphasized the importance of fostering a stronger, more cohesive network and collaboration between public and private health institutions.

​An open forum was conducted to address ground-level challenges, clarify reporting bottlenecks, and provide actionable solutions for program implementers.

​The consultative meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all attendees to improve data accuracy, timeliness, and inter-facility coordination. Through the steadfast support of the PDOHO and the active engagement of our health workforce, the region continues to move forward toward a more responsive and data-driven healthcare delivery system.

LOOK | Strengthening Communities Through Health Education

The Barangay Advocacy Campaign on Oral Health, Lifestyle-Related Diseases, Generic Medicine Awareness, Rational Use of Medicines, and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Awareness was successfully conducted on June 18, 2026 at Barangay Tucod, Cabarroguis, Quirino, and on June 19, 2026 at Barangay Villa Hermosa Sur, Maddela, Quirino.

This initiative equipped community members with essential health knowledge, promoted the safe and responsible use of medicines, encouraged healthier lifestyle choices, and raised awareness on the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance. By empowering individuals with accurate information, we take meaningful steps toward preventing disease, protecting public health, and building healthier, more resilient communities.

Together, we foster informed choices, healthier lives, and stronger communities. 💊🦷🌿🤝

Abangan bukas ang espesyal na episode ng 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗻-𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗶 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗶𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝘀 para sa pagdiriwang ng 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

Ating bibigyang-pugay ang katatagan at inspirasyon ng ating mga cancer patients at survivors, kasama ang kinatawan mula sa Southern Isabela Medical Center — isa sa mga pangunahing katuwang ng DOH Cagayan Valley sa pagbibigay ng de-kalidad na serbisyong medikal at malasakit para sa mga patuloy na lumalaban sa kanser sa ating rehiyon.

Sama-sama nating pakinggan ang kanilang mga kwento ng pag-asa at tagumpay, at alamin ang mga hakbang at serbisyong isinusulong ng ating mga espesyalista at pamahalaaan upang matiyak ang maayos, mataas na kalidad, at epektibong gamutan para sa bawat pasyente.

Tutok na at sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating mga survivors at pasalamatan ang ating mga bayaning health workers na katuwang natin sa isang masigla at protektadong kinabukasan!

Ang cervical cancer ay isang uri ng kanser na nakakaapekto sa cervix, o kwelyo ng matris. Ito ay dulot ng Human Papillomavirus o HPV at karaniwang dumadapo sa mga babae na may edad na tatlumpung (30) taon gulang pataas. Ang maagang pagsusuri at edukasyon ay kritikal upang ito ay maiwasan.

🤔 𝗔𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻?

💉𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗮 laban sa HPV. Ito ay libre para sa mga batang babae na edad 9-14.

🔎𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮-𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻. May libreng cervical cancer screening para sa mga edad 30-65.
