The Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) Provincial Inter-Agency Monitoring Task Force convened today, May 5, 2026, at the DILG Conference Hall, San Marcos, Cabarroguis, Quirino, to review the means of verification submitted by the six (6) Local Government Units (LGUs) through the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance Knowledge Management System.
The CFLGA evaluates the performance of LGUs across five (5) key areas, namely: Survival, Development, Protection, Participation, and Governance. These areas serve as indicators in gauging the effectiveness of LGUs in implementing child-responsive policies, programs, projects, and services.
The activity was attended by DILG Provincial Director Karen Joy C. Pablico-Castro, Schools Division Superintendent Madelyn L. Macalling, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Nelia M. Mabuti, Senior Education Program Specialist Division Information Officer Arnold O. Saballa, and Planning Officer Harris T. Ignacio from the Department of Education, Assistant Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer/Nutrition Officer Luningning P. Rhodes, Early Childhood Care and Development Officer Daisy V. Garcia, Social Welfare Officer II Lilibeth A. Sampaga, Development Management Officer IV Jomel A. Sugue, Health Education and Promotion Officer I Melanie L. Dotuerte, and James Patrick Go from the Provincial Health Office.
Also present to provide assistance were Program Manager Blessing Grace G. Sagun, LGMES Chief Carolyn C. Mateo, and ISA I Rociel Mari R. Roces.
LGUs that pass the CFLGA are conferred with the Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance by the Council for the Welfare of Children Board.
