The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay San Roque warm-heartedly extends its greetings to the entire community, most especially to our youth, partners, supporters, and the vibrant members of the LGBTQIA+ community across our whole town. We are writing to officially provide an important update regarding the Queen of San Roque All Stars 2026, a project conceptualized with deep dedication to honor, celebrate, and showcase the talent, confidence, creativity, and inspiring advocacy of the LGBTQIA+ community not only in our barangay, but across the entire Municipality of Cabiao.

Following thorough discussions and careful deliberation among the council members and organizing committee, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐๐๐ง ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ ๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐๐๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซโ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ญ. We want to emphasize in the strongest and clearest terms that this decision was made solely due to the low candidate turn-out, which fell short of the minimum requirement needed to uphold the standards, prestige, and intended structure of a municipality-wide competition. This decision was in no way a reflection of the LGBTQIA+ community itself, as holding a full-scale pageant without the necessary number of contestants would ultimately compromise the high-quality experience our audience expects and, most importantly, that our candidates truly deserve.

Your courage, enthusiasm, preparation, and willingness to proudly represent the LGBTQIA+ community and represent your respective localities did not go unnoticed, and you embody the true spirit of confidence and leadership that we deeply admire. We also convey our sincere gratitude to our hardworking organizers, sponsors, local municipal partners, and community members who offered their valuable time, resources, and encouragement throughout the planning phase.
The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay San Roque firmly reiterates that our support for the LGBTQIA+ youth remains absolute, and we stand with you in continuously promoting diversity, inclusion, gender equality, and safe spaces where everyone can express themselves freely. While we are deeply saddened to pause this year's pageant, we view this as a valuable opportunity to rebuild and refine our efforts, remaining fully dedicated to creating meaningful, inclusive programs for all sectors of the youth. We kindly ask for your understanding, and we remain hopeful and optimistic that with greater participation from residents across the Municipality of Cabiao, the Queen of San Roque All Stars will return bigger, bolder, and brighter in the coming years.
