The Cadiz City Jail will proudly celebrate the Father's Day through a special program, "Bongga ka TAY", featuring our Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) who have embraced the noble role of being fathers.

More than just a pageant, the activity served as a meaningful opportunity to bring joy, laughter, and a sense of belonging to our PDL fathers during this special occasion. Through friendly competition, talent, and self-expression, participants were able to showcase the love, dedication, and sacrifices that define fatherhood.

This celebration reminds us that despite the challenges of reformation, the role of a father remains significant and enduring. It is through activities like these that we continue to promote the welfare, emotional well-being, and rehabilitation of our PDLs, fostering hope and strengthening family values.

A father’s love knows no boundaries, and a father's influence remains a guiding light no matter the distance.

𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗭 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗝𝗔𝗜𝗟 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗢𝗨𝗦 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗪𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗛𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟

Cadiz City Jail actively participated in the Simultaneous Nationwide Earthquake Drill, reaffirming its commitment to disaster preparedness and the safety of all Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) and personnel.

Under the leadership of 𝗝𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗝𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗣𝗛 𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗡𝗬 𝗧. 𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡, Acting City Jail Warden, and through the guidance of Cadiz City Jail personnel, the PDLs were oriented and trained on the proper actions to take before, during, and after an earthquake. The activity highlighted the importance of the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure, awareness of designated evacuation areas, and maintaining composure during emergency situations.

In line with the collaborative efforts of the local government in promoting disaster resilience, selected Cadiz City Jail personnel were also invited by the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) of Cadiz City to participate in the same earthquake drill conducted at Cadiz East Elementary School I. Their participation demonstrated the bureau's commitment to supporting community based disaster preparedness initiatives and strengthening partnerships with local stakeholders.

This drill served not only as a practical exercise but also as an opportunity to equip both PDLs and personnel with valuable lifelong knowledge and skills that can help save lives during emergencies. Through continuous training and preparedness activities, Cadiz City Jail remains steadfast in fostering a culture of safety, resilience, and readiness.

Preparedness today means safety tomorrow. Every drill strengthens our ability to respond, recover, and protect lives when disaster strikes.

🔍 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲, 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲

Cadiz City Jail, under the leadership of JSINSP JOSEPH ANTHONY T BAYAN, Acting City Jail Warden, successfully conducted a Surprise Drug Test and Greyhound Operation within the jail facility in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) Cadiz City.

The activity was undertaken to strengthen security measures and ensure a safe, orderly, and drug-free environment for all Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). Through the thorough inspection of jail premises and strict implementation of security protocols, authorities aimed to detect and confiscate prohibited contraband that could potentially endanger the welfare, safety, and daily living of PDLs.

This initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of Cadiz City Jail and its partner agencies to uphold discipline, maintain peace and order, and promote a culture of accountability and rehabilitation within the facility.

On June 3, 2026, Cadiz City Jail proudly participated in the Institutional Pagkilala 2026 held at the Sagay City Gymnasium and organized by the State University of Northern Negros.

The activity was conducted to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions of partner agencies, stakeholders, and community supporters whose unwavering commitment plays a vital role in molding students toward a brighter and more promising future. Through strong collaboration and shared responsibility, educational institutions and partner organizations continue to empower the youth and prepare them for future endeavors.

Cadiz City Jail is deeply honored and grateful for the recognition bestowed upon the Bureau. This acknowledgment serves as an inspiration for us to further strengthen our partnerships and remain steadfast in our commitment to community development, public service, and transformative programs.
