Pride is not just a parade, a program, or a party, it is a protest. A stand.
A declaration that the community is here, we exist, and we matter.

I stand for those who can't.
For those silenced, shamed, or unseen.

We are not asking to be merely tolerated. We march to be accepted.
To live in a community where policies protect us, where laws uphold our rights, and where opportunities are not withheld because of who we are or who we love.

Pride is an everyday fight for dignity, equality, and freedom from discrimination.
I will stand not just when it’s colorful and safe, but when it’s uncomfortable and hard.�This is a fight for rights, dignity, and a future where no one has to hide.

I’m incredibly proud to share that together with my 𝐓𝐄𝐀𝐌 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐀𝐖— composed of passionate changeamkers Kaye Anne Rosales, Aljames Enumerables, and Dwen Bayon-on— we have officially been accepted into ActivateGov 2025 by GoodGov PH, and co-presented by Young Public Servants and U.S. Embassy in the Philippines! 💙💜

𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗚𝗼𝘃 is a transformative program designed to equip youth leaders with the knowledge and tools to establish their own Good Governance Civic Hub. This is not just a milestone for us, but a mission we’re committed to fulfill. It’s our chance to be part of a national movement that champions good governance and meaningful civic engagement.

As a SK Member, I’ve been serving my community with all sincerity. But along the way, I’ve also seen how transparency, the very foundation of good governance, is often ignored or treated like an option.

It’s disheartening when questions are left unanswered, when SK finances remain unclear, and when basic reports become hard to access. The people deserve better—and I believe we have the power to do better.

That’s why I’m standing up—not to attack, but to raise the bar, because leadership should never be afraid of being asked. I

Our journey with ActivateGov 2025 is a bold step forward in building that culture of open, inclusive, and accountable leadership. This is where we begin building a Civic Hub in our own locality. This is how we rewrite the narrative of local governance—by being present, prepared, and principled.

Yay! From Angat Kalikasan in Cebu to Yakap | Pakay Caravan in Bacolod, what a blast! ✨️✨️✨️

As the project lead for the Yakap | Pakay Caravan at UNO-R, I am beyond grateful to everyone who contribute to the success of the event last May 3-4. Thank you, VOICE and YGoal, for bringing this Caravan to UNO-R for your Visayas leg.

Thank you, Pres Dustin Veridiano for trusting us again to lead this event. To my UNOREALS who gave their full effort, and time to organize this event, and to my Pitch Up Team who guided my UNOREALS, Madamu nga Salamat! Salamat rin to our participants for your support and active involvement. Together, we created a space for voices to be heard and narratives to be shared.

May this event emphasize the significance of inclusivity in what we do, not just being a student leader but of course being a citizen of our community. 💛💙

CONGRATULATIONS!

Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Zone 6, Cadiz City was awarded as one of the 20 Angat Kalikasan Best Project and Policy 💚💙🩷

The Sangguniang Kabataan will be receiving seed grant, mentorship, and other skills development activities from the Foundation for the Philippine Environment for winning the Project Proposal and Policy Presentation led by the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations (TAYO). The competition is the highlight of the Angat Kalikasan: Young Leaders Convergence for Environmental Governance by Angat Buhay. Moreover, the 4-day convergence was attended by SK Chairperson Loyd Bumagat and SK Councilor Jonathan Salinas Aguilar held at Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
