On April 30, 2026, the Cadiz City PPO, through its probation clients and Volunteer Probation Assistants, conducted a feeding program for the children of Purok Kakahuyan. The activity, held under the leadership and supervision of CPPO Leni Ann L. Maido, Office Chief, was made possible through the active participation of office personnel and dedicated VPAs, namely: Helen Dela Cruz, Maricel Ardeña, Sedne Amayna, Frederick Acumabig, Danilo Ore, Bonifacio Jubay Jr., Florentino Narrajos Jr., and Liberty Fernandez. The initiative, carried out under the project “Food for Child,” served as a meaningful platform for community engagement.
Through this outreach, the program helped reduce the stigma often associated with probation clients by highlighting their ability to contribute positively to society. By focusing on the welfare of children, the activity fostered empathy, compassion, and a strong sense of social responsibility among participants. It emphasized that rehabilitation goes beyond compliance with conditions. It is also about restoring dignity, rebuilding trust, and encouraging active participation in community-building efforts, ultimately transforming clients into instruments of positive change.
