Lakbay ng Kulay: Arc of Unity, Icon of Visibility (Arch and Icon Competition) ๐งโโ๏ธ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. The contest is open to LGBTQIA+ members and allies.
2. Each team must:
o Design and build an ARC that celebrates LGBT Pride.
o Present an ICON who will embody the theme of the arc.
3. Teams may have up to 14 members (all members must be coming from the collaborating barangays who joined the quiz bee and laro ng lahi), including the muse.
4. The theme of the arc must align with LGBT Pride, Equality, Diversity, and Unity.
5. Arcs must be built using safe, creative, and eco-friendly materials (recycled,
indigenous, or sustainable encouraged).
6. Offensive, discriminatory, or explicit content will lead to disqualification.
III. ARC DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS:
1. Dimensions:
o Height: 8 feet
o Width: 5 feet
2. Arcs should be stable and safe for public viewing.
3. Use of lighting or effects is allowed, but must be disclosed for safety checks.
4. Set-up must be completed within the assigned time before judging.
IV. ICON PRESENTATION:
1. The muse must be a member or representative of the team, identifying as ICON of the LGBTQIA+ community.
2. Each icon will do a short stage walk or pose under their arc once arrived at the Cadiz City Park.
3. Icon are encouraged to wear attire that:
o Reflects Pride themes
o Matches the arcโs design and message
o Demonstrates confidence and creativity
V. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:
A. ARC DESIGN (70%)

VII. IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
All teams must practice respect and inclusivity at all times.
Offensive language, hate speech, or vulgarity is strictly prohibited.
Participants are expected to clean up their work area after the event.
Judgesโ decisions are final and non-negotiable.
