Personnel from the General Services Section (GSS) actively participated in the Values in Action activity conducted and facilitated by the Learning and Development Unit.
The session was attended by all the GSS personnel Headed by their Chief, Supervising Administrative Officer (SuAO) Jocelyn A. Chua.
During the morning session, the Resource Person from the Road Traffic Administration (RTA) provided a briefing on defensive driving, road safety awareness, and pedestrian rights and duties, emphasizing the importance of responsible road use.
In the afternoon, DARRO X Regional Chief Administrative Officer (RCAO) Joel Angelo Paler shared valuable insights on values in the workplace and thoroughly expounded on Office Policies, Decorum, Rules and Regulations concerning Contract of Services Personnel.
An open forum then ensued where the GSS personnel had the opportunity to raise problems, issues and concerns and discuss ways to address challenges in the General Services.
The activity also served as an opportunity to show appreciation for the hard work and contributions of the GSS personnel, to further
improve their skills and enhance their technical skills, safety awareness, and problem-solving abilities.
It also emphasized on safety first and to educate them on workplace hazards, emergency procedures, and best practices.
The activity was capped by an Open Forum facilitated by RCAO Joel Angelo M. Paler
to clarify and address expectations, policies, and procedures.
and it ended with a Team building activity encouraging collaboration and camaraderie,
awareness, reinforcing positive values among the GSS personnel.
