The activity gathered various city government departments in the barangay, giving residents the opportunity to access basic services, seek assistance, and raise concerns directly with government representatives.
Among the services offered were medical assistance, free check-ups and medicines, wheelchairs, arroz caldo, and assistance with inquiries on scholarships, job applications, late birth registration, and business permit renewals.
Children who attended the activity also received free lollipops, while five-kilogram rice packs were distributed as personal donations from the family of Mayor Klarex Uy.
A total of 3,928 residents benefited from the Peopleโs Day program, according to the city government.
City Councilors Gigi Go, Dr. Paolo Gaane, and Eric Salcedo also joined the activity, together with Barangay Gusa Officials and City Councilor Marlo L. Tabac.
Tabac thanked the local government unit for bringing the program to Barangay Gusa and for providing residents with direct access to various government services within their community.
