It’s a Wrap! A Productive Week for Health and Wellness
The Barangay Health Center successfully conducted the School-Based Immunization (SBI) program for the Grade 1 pupils of Sta. Ana Elementary School and the Grade 7 students of Sta. Ana National High School.
The program focused on administering the MRTD vaccine, a booster dose designed to ensure that children maintain high levels of immunity against life-threatening diseases. This is crucial, as protection from earlier childhood vaccinations may decline over time.
The activity was spearheaded by Ma’am Marife D. Labiste, RM/OIC of Barangay Health Station – Sta. Ana, together with the dedicated DOH Nurses, Ma’am Crystal Gail Sebastian, RN and Ma’am Elaine Bancong, RN, with the valuable assistance of the active Barangay Health Workers of Sta. Ana.
This collaborative effort reflects the strong commitment of the health sector to safeguard the well-being of the youth, ensuring a healthier future for the community.
“A healthy child today is a stronger nation tomorrow.”
