A virtual meeting was conducted to reinforce the integration of Gender and Development (GAD) principles into the key components of the SPLIT Project, highlighting the agencyโ€™s commitment to improving project delivery through inclusive and gender-responsive approaches. The activity brought together key officials, staff, and other frontliners of the SPLIT Project in every component, both regional and provincial, facilitated by the CBTA Lead Coordinator, RCAO Joel Angelo M. Paler and the SPLIT Project GAD Focal Person, PARPO II Jaharah M. Mangompia-Linog, SCL, JD, to discuss focused on adopting more inclusive and gender-responsive approaches in the collection and management of data, ensuring that relevant information reflects the diverse roles and realities of stakeholders. Emphasis was placed on strengthening mechanisms that support more responsive planning and implementation across project components.

Moreover, integrating Gender and Development into the SPLIT Project strengthens the agencyโ€™s overall direction of promoting inclusive and sustainable rural development. By incorporating gender-responsive strategies in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project components, the initiative enhances delivery while helping build more balanced and resilient communities. It goes beyond land distribution by ensuring that programs and services are accessible, responsive, and beneficial to all, especially those in underserved sectors.

This initiative is strongly supported at the regional level, reflecting a unified commitment to its effective implementation across all components of the SPLIT Project. With continued guidance and direction from the Regional SPLIT Project Manager, RD Zoraida O. Macadindang, Al-Hadj, JD, the activity aligns with the broader vision of ensuring that gender-responsive approaches remain a key consideration in advancing agrarian reform efforts in the region.

Overall, the activity marks a significant step in strengthening the integration of Gender and Development within the SPLIT Project, particularly in ensuring that data-driven approaches remain inclusive and responsive to the needs of all stakeholders. As the project continues to evolve, such initiatives play a vital role in refining strategies, enhancing coordination, and sustaining a more responsive and inclusive approach to agrarian reform implementation.

The successful launching of the DAR Region X SPLIT Project Coffee Table Book, โ€œFrom One to Many: The Stories Behind the Stories,โ€ stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment and hard work of the SPLIT Strategic Communications Teams of Northern Mindanao. What began as a vision has been transformed into a compelling collection that captures the journeys, milestones, and impact of land tenure security across communities for our beloved Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries.

Gracing the event were key officials whose messages further underscored the significance of this milestone, led by Regional Project Manager Zoraida O. Macadindang, Al-Hadj, JD, and Assistant Regional Project Manager for Operations Abdullah M. Linog, Sh.L., JD. Also recognized was Assistant Regional Project Manager for Administration Seny Fe B. Fabe, whose steadfast support, played a vital role, despite her absence during the event.

Joining them in this collective effort were the Provincial Project Managers from across the provinces of Region X, whose leadership and commitment continue to drive the success of the SPLIT Project in their respective areas. Together, their words of inspiration and dedication highlighted the importance of preserving these stories as part of DARโ€™s enduring legacy.

Adding depth to the celebration, the Assistant Secretary for External Affairs and Communications Operations Office (EACOO), ASec. Jose Jenil C. Demorito, expressed his strong support through a specially prepared audio-visual presentation (AVP), reaffirming the importance of strategic communication in amplifying the stories of agrarian reform and bringing them closer to the people.

Each narrative featured reflects not only the voices of agrarian reform beneficiaries but also the collective effort poured into documenting stories that matterโ€”stories that inspire, inform, and uplift. The program marked a significant milestone, highlighting collaboration across offices and the passion behind every detail, from groundwork to final print.

This achievement affirms that meaningful storytelling, when driven by purpose and dedication, can turn a single initiative into a shared legacy.
