⚠️ Beware of Phishing Emails on Fake “Lingkod Bayani Rewards”

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) warns government workers against fraudulent emails claiming to offer or require verification of “Lingkod Bayani Rewards” or other perks supposedly linked to the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA).

These emails may imitate official communications and attempt to obtain personal information or employee credentials through suspicious links, attachments, or fraudulent websites.

🔒 Do not click suspicious links or attachments, and never provide passwords or sensitive information in response to unsolicited emails.

Report suspicious messages involving the CSC or Lingkod Bayani Rewards Program to the Contact Center ng Bayan at [email protected].

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | 2027 FOREIGN SERVICE OFFICER (FSO) EXAMINATION

The Board of Foreign Service Examinations (BFSE) announces the conduct of the 2027 Foreign Service Officer (FSO) Examination, pursuant to the Foreign Service Act of 1991 (R.A. No. 7157) and the Revised Administrative Code of 1987.

📅 Date of Examination: 24 January 2027
📝 Application Period: 16 September – 30 October 2026

The examination aims to recruit qualified candidates for appointment to the position of Foreign Service Officer, Class IV.

🔎 Applicants are advised to check their eligibility and ensure that they meet all prescribed requirements. No exemptions from the requirements shall be considered.

Hangad ng Komisyon sa Serbisyo Sibil ang inyong patuloy na kalusugan, dunong at galing, at tapang at tatag sa paninindigang sa bawat pagkilos sa pamumuno at paglilingkod, una at higit sa lahat ang Bayan.

Kaisa ang mahigit dalawang milyong lingkod bayani, nananatiling tapat ang CSC sa pagsusulong ng isang serbisyo sibil na may Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan—para sa mahusay, tapat, at makataong paglilingkod sa bawat Pilipino.

Around 1,200 runners from various government agencies and partner organizations across Northern Mindanao gathered at the Fuente de Oro Rotunda, Pueblo de Oro Business Park, Cagayan de Oro City, for the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary Lingkod Bayani Run on 13 September 2026.

The event featured three race categories—3-kilometer, 5-kilometer, and 10-kilometer—giving participants of different ages, abilities, and fitness levels an opportunity to join the celebration. Before the race officially began, runners energized themselves through a lively Zumba warm-up that set an enthusiastic and festive mood for the activity.

Participants then took on their respective routes, filling the streets of Pueblo de Oro with energy, determination, and a strong sense of fellowship. From recreational runners participating for enjoyment to seasoned athletes testing their endurance, everyone shared the experience of reaching the finish line as one public-service community.

More than a fitness activity, the Lingkod Bayani Run served as a vibrant demonstration of unity, camaraderie, and commitment among civil servants and stakeholders. It brought together members of the government workforce beyond their usual workplaces and responsibilities, providing them with an opportunity to connect, support one another, and celebrate the invaluable contributions of public servants to nation-building.

The strong turnout also reflected the growing importance placed on health and wellness in the public sector. Through activities such as the Lingkod Bayani Run, government personnel are encouraged to embrace active lifestyles while strengthening teamwork and cultivating a positive work-life balance.

The run formed part of the month-long celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, which honors the dedication, integrity, and sacrifices of the country’s civil servants. It also reaffirmed the shared commitment of government workers in Region X to remain healthy, united, and steadfast in delivering responsive and meaningful service to the Filipino people.

With around 1,200 participants successfully completing the different race routes, the event concluded as a memorable celebration of fitness, fellowship, and the enduring spirit of public service in Northern Mindanao.
