Taliwala sa ngalan sa ilang asosasyon, kadaghanan sa mga miyembro sa Tangaro Young Farmers' Association (TYFA) mga hamtong nga nag-edad og 30 pataas, sama ni Dionisio Penonia nga 84 anyos na. Gipamatud-an sa TYFA nga ang mga senior citizen adunay mahinungdanong papel sa sektor sa agrikultura.

Nailhan sa dagnay nga "Manong," si Tatay Dionisio usa ka mag-uuma sa lungsod sa Catarman sulod sa kapin kwarenta ka tuig. Isip usa sa mga madasigong miyembro, si Tatay Dionisio ang napili nga Social Manager sa TYFA ug kasagarang makita nga nag-atiman sa vegetable garden sa grupo.

Bisan pa sa iyang pangidaron, masusing gi-atiman ni Tatay Dionisio ang nagkada-iyang klase sa pananom nga utanon sa ilang garden. Gawas sa pagprodiyus sa itlog sa manok, ang pagbaligya og mga utanon usa sa mga livelihood project sa TYFA ubos sa SAAD Program.

The Department of Agriculture – Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) Program in Northern Mindanao successfully conducted a four-day cascading and pilot onsite validation of the Food Production and Livelihood (FPL) guidelines and templates in Catarman, Camiguin from April 27 to 30, 2026.

The activity was designed to ensure the effective implementation and harmonization of the FPL guidelines and templates across all SAAD operating units in the region.

It is a training para makuha nato ang actual nga output [sa mga beneficiary] and receivable [projects] from the SAAD Program."

So kitang-kita talaga yung pag-aalaga ng mga binigay natin na mga interventions sa kanila. From the start until now, kitang-kita natin yung improvement ng beneficiaries doon. So napakagandang tingnan na success yung ating implementation sa Tangaro Young Farmers' Association."

News Release | Negosyong produksiyon sa sili sa mga mag-uuma sa MisOr gisuportahan sa SAAD

Pinaagi sa livelihood project nga gipundohan sa Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program sa Department of Agriculture, gisugdan sa mga miyembro sa Kaulayanan Strawberry Growers Association (KSGA) sa Sugbongcogon, Misamis Oriental ang negosyong produksiyon sa sili.

News Release | Niadtong Pebrero ning tuig, mokabat sa 2,000 ka bungtod sa sili ang natanom sa asosasyon. Gilauman sa KSGA nga masugdan ang pag-harvest sa Hunyo, diin gibana-bana moabot og 20 - 40 ka kilo nga sili ang ma-harvest matag semana.

Sumala sa lideres sa KSGA, ang sili mabaligya nila sa presyo nga P30 - P40 matag kilo sa Westbound Public Market nga nahimotang sa dakbayan sa Cagayan de Oro.

News Release | Mag-uuma sa TYFA gilunsad ang proyektong tilapia production

Aron mapalig-on ug mapalapdan ang ilang panginabuhian, gitukod sa mga miyembro sa Tangaro Young Farmers' Association (TYFA) sa Catarman, Camiguin ang duha ka fishpond alang sa produksyon sa tilapia.

Gilunsad niadtong Enero 2026, ang maong proyekto gipondohan gamit ang kita nga nalikom sa asosasyon gikan sa Chicken Egg Production Project nga unang gitugyan sa Special Area for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program sa DA, sa milabay nga 3 ka tuig.

Ang asosasyon nagbuhi og 53 ka breeder tilapia sa usa ka fishpond alang sa pagpadaghan. Ang ikaduha nga fishpond puno sa kapin sa 1,000 nga tilapia fingerlings. Kini gilauman nga maabot sa market size, ug ma-harvest sa Hulyo ning tuig.
