The activity brought everyone together through music, movement, and positive energy--- promoting health, wellness, teamwork, and camaraderie among our dedicated city employees.

It was a lively celebration of fitness, friendship, and a healthier workplace---proving that staying active can be fun for everyone.💚

DUE to the high heat index monitoring by PAGASA-Mindanao PRSD in it’s Laguindingan Airport, Misamis Oriental Station as of August 12, 2026, with a 2-day forecast of 43 degrees celsius (DANGER CLASSIFICATION) for August 13 and 14, 2026, CDO City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy will suspend classes in all public schools from pre-school to high school levels on Thursday and Friday, August 13 and 14, 2026, respectively.

However, suspension of classes for private pre-school to high school levels and higher education institutions (HEI's) shall be left to the sound wisdom and discretion of their respective principals/administrators/school heads.

An Executive Order formalizing the class suspension will follow.

The City General Services Office (CGSO) conducted a fun and engaging “Tap, Tickle, and Grab” wellness activity to promote teamwork, focus, and camaraderie among employees. Participants worked in pairs and followed a series of quick hand movements and instructions that tested their concentration, coordination, and reaction time. On, July 3, 2026, As part of our Wellness Friday activity, the City General Services Office employees took a break from their daily responsibilities to enjoy a fun and engaging game of Tetra Tower. The challenge encouraged participants to carefully stack colorful Tetris-shaped blocks while maintaining the tower's balance, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement, laughter, and friendly competition. The activity provided a refreshing way for everyone to relax, recharge, and momentarily step away from their routine tasks.

Beyond the fun, the game also promoted teamwork, communication, patience, and strategic thinking as colleagues supported and cheered one another throughout the challenge.
