GI-AWHAG sa lokal na kagamhanan ang publiko nga magsul-ob og face mask ilabina kung mogawas sa ilang mga panimalay, isip panalipod batok sa haze nga mahimong makaapekto sa kalidad sa hangin.

Ang kasamtangang haze nga nasinati sa pipila ka lugar gia*oy nga may kalabotan sa a*o gikan sa mga sunog sa kalasangan sa Indonesia nga mahimong madala sa hangin ngadto sa ubang mga lugar.

Ang haze mao ang sagol sa a*o, abog, ug gagmayng partikulo sa hangin nga mahimong hinungdan sa irritasyon sa mata, pag-ubo, ug kalisod sa pagginhawa, ilabina sa mga bata ug senior citizens.

Busa, giawhag ang publiko nga magsul-ob og face mask, likayan usa ang pag-gawas sa balay, ug sundon ang pahibalo sa mga awtoridad bahin sa kalidad sa hangin.

🥚🥛🍌 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 🤱💕

Today, during our 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲, we also conducted a feeding activity for our breastfeeding mothers. Nutritious and wholesome food—𝗲𝗴𝗴, 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗸, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮—was provided to help support their health, strength, and well-being, as well as that of their little ones. 🌿✨

The food was distributed by our dedicated 𝗕𝗡𝗦𝘀, together with our 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 & 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗞𝗮𝗴. 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗢. 𝗠𝗮𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗱 𝗝𝗿.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Mothers from various barangays showcased their knowledge, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills during the Nutri Quiz Bee Mothers Edition, organized by the Cagayan de Oro City Nutrition Committee as part of the 2026 Nutrition Month Celebration on July 15, 2026, at the Limketkai Event Center.

The competition brought together mothers representing Barangays Iponan, Bulua, 24, Canitoan, Carmen, Bayabas, Mambuaya, Lapasan, Balulang, and Pagatpat, with two participants representing each barangay.

The activity aimed to promote awareness of proper nutrition and healthy eating habits while strengthening their understanding of basic nutrition concepts. It also sought to develop participants' confidence, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills through an engaging and educational competition.

The quiz bee consisted of three rounds: the Easy Round, with 10 questions worth one point each; the Average Round, with 10 questions worth two points each; and the Difficult Round, featuring five questions worth three points each.

Emerging as champions were Lyle Honey Clemencio and Dailyn Langomez of Barangay Bulua, who received the grand prize of ₱4,000.00. Angielyn Cortez and Vanessa Del Puerto of Barangay 24 secured first place and received ₱3,000.00, while Xhyrel Pasahingue and Loura Recote of Barangay Iponan placed second and received ₱2,000.00.

The remaining participating teams each received a ₱1,000 consolation prize, and all contestants were awarded certificates of participation in recognition of their enthusiasm and active involvement.

More than just a competition, the Nutri Quiz Bee Mothers Edition served as a meaningful platform for mothers to demonstrate their nutrition knowledge, critical-thinking abilities, and teamwork while proudly representing their respective barangays.

The City Nutrition Committee extends its congratulations to all participants, especially the top three winning teams, and expresses its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of the Nutri Quiz Bee Mothers Edition, including the participating barangays.
