Calling all Kagay-anons! Show your artistic flair and contribute to our city's identity. Unleash your creativity and represent our community! We are excited to announce the Logo Design Contest of the Gender and Development Office and City Agency for Volunteerism & Active Citizenship.

Submit your logo design (PNG format, transparent), along with its description, editing application/s used, color/HEX codes, font details, mock-ups, contact information, and a signed contest confirmation form to 𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻.𝗰𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗼@𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺.

* Originality - The uniqueness and distinctiveness of the logo design. The logo stands out from others, avoiding clichés or overused symbols related to gender and development. Originality should captivate attention.

* Scalability - The adaptability of the logo for various uses and sizes. The logo design maintains its clarity and impact when scaled, ensuring it is versatile enough for different promotional materials and contexts.

* Inclusivity - How well the logo represents a sense of inclusiveness and diversity. The logo design reflects different genders, backgrounds, and communities, promoting an inclusive environment that resonates with the diverse population of Cagayan de Oro City.

Resilient Cities Network

Cities are facing dynamic changes, from the impact of climate changes to demographic transitions. These diverse challenges underscore the need for a more agile infrastructure and built environment. As communities evolve, so do their distinct needs. By embracing flexibility, adaptive reuse, and multipurpose spaces, cities can effectively address the unique demands of their residents. For resilient infrastructure, it is crucial to be agile, aligning with community needs to strengthen overall resilience.

It is critical that communities are involved in the planning so that agility and longevity for future generations are considered from the outset. Multipurpose spaces could also help promote connectivity and productivity. This session on “Agile Infrastructure” presents an opportunity to draw on global examples of multipurpose spaces, asset reuse, and repurposed infrastructure, offering valuable lessons for building resilient cities for current and future generations.

Since I have free time on weekends, and as a come-back, I will be dedicating some of my time as 𝑽𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈-𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑 anywhere in Region 10 or Mindanao.

This is also part of my volunteer initiative as Deputy Regional Convenor in the 10th National Youth Parliament.
