Family Health Advocacy Program July 22–23, 2026

The Canitoan Health Center successfully conducted its Family Health Advocacy Program with 35 participants who completed the two-day training. The activity was made possible through the collaboration of the Canitoan Health Center, Barangay Canitoan, City Health Office, Liceo de Cagayan University medical clerks, and other valued partners.

Participants attended lectures on Universal Health Care, Proper Breastfeeding, Garantisadong Pambata, Pinggang Pinoy, Hypertension, Diabetes, Cancer, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Mental Health, VAWC, First Aid and CPR, Immunization, Family Planning,Dengue, Sanitation, and Halamang Gamot.

The program also featured pre- and post-tests, inspiring messages from Dr. Lorraine Jungco-Nery MO Canitoan Health Center and community leaders PB Hon. Lancelot Allan Borja Padla and Admin Mr. Loister Duyog, Committe on Health chair Hon. Isagani Legaspi and the distribution of dental kits by CHO Dental Dept headed by Dr. Precy Jaralve, and 3 kilos of rice to each graduate through the generosity of the Barangay Council. It was also attended by our CHO HEPU in person of Mr. Giovanni Dael and Ms. Jean Ebarat.

Congratulations to all 35 graduates! May the knowledge and skills you gained help build healthier families and a stronger, healthier community. 💙🌿
