The Commission, in partnership with Batangas State University, is pleased to announce that the application period for the following programs has been extended until 19 June 2026:
● Empowering SUC Faculty and Staff through BatStateU Industry Micro-credentials in Cybersecurity (Junior Cybersecurity Analyst Pathway)
● Empowering SUC Faculty and Staff through BatStateU Industry Micro-credentials in Data Science (Machine Learning Pathway)

The projects will deliver short-term, stackable, and hybrid micro-credentials programs that provide essential skills in network security, data analytics, and digital governance. By addressing existing gaps in digital pedagogy, cybersecurity awareness, and data literacy, the projects aim to cultivate a network of SUC digital leaders who will champion secure, data-informed, and future-ready higher education systems across the country which will be delivered in full online mode.

Philippine higher education institutions (HEIs) are invited to join a national conversation on the future of internationalized learning through Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL).

The Commission on Higher Education – International Affairs Service (CHED-IAS), in collaboration with Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. and participating higher education institutions, proudly presents the 𝐂𝐎𝐈𝐋 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

In a major stride toward upgrading the caliber of the nation’s teaching force, the Commission on Higher Education - Unified Student Financial Assistant System for Tertiary Education (CHED-UniFAST) and the Teacher Education Council (TEC) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) today, June 3, to roll out the Teacher Education Scholarship Program (TESP).

Led by CHED Chairperson Shirley C. Agrupis, TEC Secretariat Executive Director Jennie V. Jocson, and UniFAST OIC Executive Director Septon A. De La Cruz, the program is backed by a P103 million fund allocation to fully support 720 scholars for its pilot rollout in Academic Year 2026-2027.

Call for Nominations to be Members of Various Technical Panels (TP)

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) officially opens the Call for Nominations to be members of Various Technical Panels (TPs), pursuant to Republic Act No. 7722 and CHED Administrative Order No. 5, s. 2026.

The reconstitution of the TPs reflects the Commission’s continuing commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and collaborative governance in Philippine higher education, ensuring that curricular and program standards remain aligned with national development goals and global trends.

CHED encourages participation in this important undertaking by submitting nominations on or before June 30, 2026.

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office X (CHEDRO X) congratulates the members of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities Region 10 (ALCU-X), all participating student-athletes, and the host institution, Don Carlos Polytechnic College (DCPC), for the successful staging of the 𝐀𝐋𝐂𝐔-𝐗 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held in Don Carlos, Bukidnon, from April 20–24, 2026.
