🔧💻 Making SRE Accreditation Easier, Faster, and More Accessible

DTI Misamis Oriental successfully conducted a Service and Repair Enterprise (SRE) Accreditation Onboarding Session on June 4, 2026, attended by 25 participants from various service and repair enterprises across the province.

Designed as a hands-on workshop, the activity guided participants through the online accreditation process using the Integrated Registration Information System (IREGIS), helping enterprises navigate requirements, create accounts, and prepare their applications with confidence. As a result, 16 companies successfully registered their NegosyoKonek accounts and are now ready to lodge their SRE accreditation applications online.

The onboarding session is part of DTI's efforts to simplify and streamline compliance with Presidential Decree No. 1572 through digitalization. By transitioning accreditation services online, DTI aims to make the application process more convenient, accessible, and efficient for service and repair enterprises, reducing paperwork and allowing businesses to manage their applications anytime and anywhere.

As DTI prepares for the transition to online SRE accreditation processing in the second semester of 2026, initiatives such as this ensure that enterprises are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to comply with accreditation requirements with greater ease.

Together, we are building a more efficient, business-friendly, and digitally empowered service sector while strengthening consumer confidence and protection.

DTI-BSMED Conducts 2026 Shared Service Facility Project Monitoring in Misamis Oriental

On June 3, 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development (DTI-BSMED), in partnership with DTI Region 10 and the DTI Misamis Oriental Provincial Office, successfully conducted the 2026 Shared Service Facility (SSF) Project Monitoring under Project MONITOR.

The activity covered two key SSF projects in Misamis Oriental: the Support to Oro Best Creative and Mindspace Center SSF Project of the Oro Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation, Inc., and the SSF on Food Analytical Laboratory of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines – Northern Mindanao Food Innovation Center (NMFIC). Through on-site inspections, validation sessions, stakeholder interviews, and consultations with project cooperators and beneficiaries, the team assessed the facilities’ operational status, utilization, and overall implementation performance.

The monitoring exercise generated valuable insights on the accomplishments, operational strengths, and areas for improvement of the SSF projects. It also provided an opportunity to identify challenges, validate outcomes, and explore strategies to further enhance project sustainability, efficiency, and impact. The findings will serve as vital inputs for evidence-based program management, policy development, and continuous operational improvement, reaffirming DTI’s commitment to empowering MSMEs and fostering inclusive economic growth through the Shared Service Facilities Program.
