TESDA Lanao del Norte, led by Provincial Director Norayah A. Acas, conducted its 1st Provincial Industry Forum on October 8, 2026, at Riverview, Ubaldo Laya, Iligan City, with industry partners from various sectors and technical-vocational institutions. The forum discussed Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET), scholarship implementation, Area-Based Demand-Driven (ABDD) TVET, and the proposed establishment of the Provincial TVET Industry Board. One of the highlights of the activity was the awarding of the Certificate of TVET Program Registration to Iligan Light and Power, Inc. for its program registered under the Enterprise-Based Education and Training (EBET) Program..

In the afternoon, industry partners and training institutions participated in a workshop to validate the skills requirements of industries in Iligan City and the Province of Lanao del Norte. The activity provided an opportunity to identify skills gaps and priority competencies to help align training programs with actual industry needs.

Through this initiative, TESDA Lanao del Norte continues to strengthen partnerships between industry and training institutions to promote demand-driven skills development and prepare a competent, employment-ready workforce that supports local economic growth.

Last October 5, 2026, TESDA Misamis Oriental officially conducted the Oath-Taking Ceremony for the elected officers of the CDO TVET Association and its various TVI alumni associations. The ceremony was proudly led by TESDA Director General, Sec. Kiko Benitez, emphasizing the crucial role of TVET graduates in driving local workforce excellence, economic productivity, and community development.

The oath-taking brought together key leaders across the sector, starting with the CDO TVET Association led by Mr. Lorimer V. Angeles, along with individual TVI alumni associations including the Skivtech Training Academy Alumni Association led by President Jeshrel P. Directo, Amhara Technical and Training Institute, Inc. led by President Charie Mae M. Gonato, Lorenz International Skills Training Academy, Inc. led by President Mariel Mae U. Castino, and the Provincial Training Center - Misamis Oriental led by President Michael Angelo G. Belocura.

Congratulations to all the newly inducted officers across all participating institutions, we look forward to seeing your leadership empower the entire TVET community!

📲 A total of 1,083 technical-vocational education and training (TVET) graduates from Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro City are now equipped with industry-recognized skills that can help them pursue employment, livelihood, and further career opportunities.

The graduates completed various Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) qualifications and they were recognized during the 2026 TVET Mass Graduation on Oct. 5 at the Aquilino Q. Pimentel Jr. International Convention Center in Cagayan de Oro City.
