TESDA Provincial Training Center โ Misamis Oriental successfully conducted the 2026 Mass Graduation Ceremony on August 18, 2026, at the Libertad Covered Court, Libertad, Misamis Oriental, recognizing a total of 152 graduates from various technical vocational education and training programs. The activity formally celebrated the successful completion of training of the graduates and encouraged them to pursue employment, entrepreneurship, further training, and other opportunities using their acquired competencies.
The activity was attended by TESDA officials and personnel, graduates and their families, trainers, government representatives, local government units, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
Another mojor highlight of the activity was the recognition of TESDA PTC MOR's partners and stakeholders whose support contributed to the successful implementation of the training programs. Among those recognized were the Coast Guard District Northern Mindanao, represented by COMMO Dennis Rem C. Labay, PCG, BJMP Initao District Jail, JCINSP Glen Robert C. Madarieta, duly represented by Jail Officer 3 Galileo Ortiz; Misamis Oriental Provincial Jail, PMAJ Rogelio R. Labor Jr., Ret., duly represented by Assistant Jail Warden Francis Sarangay; and BJMP El Salvador City Jail, represented by JSINSP Don Felix P. Boado, Jail Warden.
Other recognized partners included Mindanao State University at Naawan, represented by Mr. Victor R. Navarro, Oro Geometric Builders Inc., represented by Engr. Rolando M. Cortejos, Daisy Marie Cortejos, and Princess Annisah Kaye F. Mangondato, MD Events & Services, represented by Mark Gil B. Dagapioso, together with La-aw Cakes, Studio Prince, Kusinahan Food and Catering Services, and ZYC Balloons, Craft and Events, Rural Transit Mindanao Incorporated, Allan T. Valiente, MBA, duly represented by Mr. Jomar Colinares.
The activity also recognized the support of the Local Government Units of El Salvador City, Gingoog City, Gitagum, Initao, Libertad, Magsaysay, Manticao, Naawan, and Opol. Their continued support and collaboration demonstrate the importance of multi-sectoral partnerships in bringing relevant skills training and employment opportunities closer to communities.
Inspirational messages were delivered by Hon. Allan M. Sofocado, Municipal Mayor of Libertad, Marigold Cherie R. Garrido, Provincial Director, TESDA Misamis Oriental, and Meriam E. Calam, Senior TESD Specialist, TESDA Region X, encouraging the graduates to apply their skills, pursue available opportunities, and continue developing their competencies.
Overall, the 2026 Mass Graduation Ceremony was successfully conducted, achieving its objectives of recognizing the 152 graduates and strengthening TESDA's partnerships with government agencies, LGUs, academic institutions, industry partners, private organizations, and other stakeholders. The activity affirmed the commitment of TESDA PTC-Misamis Oriental to providing accessible, quality, and demand-driven technical vocational education and training and to creating pathways toward employment, entrepreneurship, and improved livelihoods for its trainees and the community.
