📍52nd Nutrition Month Celebration

PNAO Marites A. Gomez and staff, DNPCs Louie Rose L. Nob & Carol A. Ayuban served as judges of the "Healthy Baby" and "On-the-Spot Poster Making" contest upon the invitation of Mayor Alexis S. Quina and Municipal Health Officer & concurrent Municipal Nutrition Action Officer, Dr. Ma. Helen M. Romualdo. DOH-NDDP deployed at Balingasag Ms. Anababes Andoy was also one of the judges in the poster making contest. Kagawad Ligaya B. Aganap, Chair - Committee on Finance represented Vice Mayor Felix H. Borromeo. This activity is in line with the month-long celebration of the 52nd Nutrition Month. Pursuant to PD 491 otherwise known as "Nutrition Act of the Philippines" in 1974. July is designated as "National Nutrition Month", by virtue of the said Presidential Decree.

Also in attendance during the said event were the principal & teaching staff of the participating schools and all the Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNSs). So grateful for their all out support. 💚💚💚

Prior to the contest proper, PNAO Gomez and staff paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Quina.
