Unlocking financial independence is one of the most impactful ways to safeguard a family's tomorrow. To turn this vision into reality, the City Government of Cagayan de Oro joined forces with the ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative, the Social Security System (SSS), and the Pag-IBIG Fund to launch an engaging Financial Literacy Training specifically tailored for 51 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.
Throughout the session, participants gained essential skills in budgeting, smart spending, systematic saving, and building emergency reserves. Representatives from SSS and the Pag-IBIG Fund were also on hand to guide attendees through available membership benefits, social safety nets, and long-term services.
This transformative seminar would not have been possible without the vision and commitment of key leaders and partners. Deepest gratitude to City Mayor Rolando โKlarexโ A. Uy, City Councilor Hilda โGigiโ O. Go, and Acting Department Manager of CID, Hon. Honorio Diputado, Jr. We also recognize CID Cooperative Officer Mr. Rodger M. Zerna and the entire CID Team for their steadfast leadership and backing.
Special recognition goes to the DSWD City Action Team, led by Team Leader Sahailah Mustapha, alongside the CIAC-CSWD SecretariatโMs. Arlene Dahl B. Baja, Ms. Lanie G. Galvez, and Ms. Marie Servangeli L. Asperaโfor their invaluable support and seamless coordination in bringing this initiative to fruition.
Our warmest thanks go to the 51 4Ps beneficiaries who attended. Your enthusiastic participation, dedication to learning, and commitment to building a secure financial future for your families were the true highlights of this event.
A heartfelt thank-you to our generous host and sponsor, ACDI Multipurpose Cooperative. Our gratitude extends to the Social Security System (SSS), represented by Mr. Darrien Dave Dagatan and Ms. Abegail Mutia, as well as the Pag-IBIG Fund (Carmen & Lapasan Branches), represented by Ms. Joena T. Omahoy, Mr. Sheprill Vertudez, Ms. Norie Pacatang, and Ms. Stephanie Sanchez, for sharing their time and expertise with the community.
