This ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ณ๐๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ด๐ฎ๐ป ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ the reorganization of the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) and ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ปโ๐ ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฝ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ, now known as the CADAD โ Oro Wellness Center. The ACDO continues to provide an office space for CADAD - Oro Wellness to hold services for our clients.
Inspired by the pastoral letter of then Archbishop Antonio Ledesma, SJ, now Bishop Emeritus, the ๐พ๐๐ช๐ง๐๐ ๐ค๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐ฉ๐จ ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐๐๐จ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐จ ๐๐จ ๐จ๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ช๐๐จ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐จ๐ค๐ฃ๐จ ๐๐๐ค ๐๐จ๐ ๐ฟ๐ง๐ช๐๐จ (๐๐๐๐ฟ๐จ), ๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐๐จ๐จ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐ก๐ฎ ๐๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ข โ๐๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐จโโ because they responded to the call to change their lives. ๐ฟ๐๐ฃ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฌ๐ค ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ค ๐ฃ๐๐ โ๐๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐จโ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ฃ ๐จ๐ ๐พ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ค โ ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข ๐ง๐ค๐ค๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ, ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐, ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐จ๐๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐จ.
The ๐๐๐๐๐ โ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ผ ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐โ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ-๐๐๐ผ๐ฝ-๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ for addiction-related services including interview, counseling, assessment, and referral to treatment in accordance with DDB Regulation No. 4, Series of 2016 (Oplan Sagip), further strengthened by DDB Board Regulation No. 7, Series of 2019, known as the โConsolidated Revised Rules Governing Access to Treatment and Rehabilitation Programs and Services.โ
Since then, CADADโs programs and services have expanded to:
โ๏ธ Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation and Aftercare Programs (CBDR-AC) in every barangay
โ๏ธ Special Drug Education Center (SDEC)
โ๏ธ CBDR for Persons Deprived of Liberty
โ๏ธ Drug-Free Workplace Programs
โ๏ธ Supervision of the Barangay Drug Clearing Program (BDCP)
โ๏ธ Conduct of Drug Dependency Examination (DDE)
What started as ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐ป๐ผ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐บ๐ถ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป โ to provide a safe space for individuals affected by the disease of addiction and to remind everyone that there is always ๐๐ข๐ฃ๐, ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ.
