The City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), through the City Anti-Drug Abuse Division – Oro Wellness Center, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 status following the annual retention validation.

These barangays had already earned their respective status in previous years, and through sustained efforts, compliance, and strong community participation, they have successfully maintained it once again.

The validation for existing Drug-Free and Drug-Cleared Barangays is conducted annually, making this achievement a testament to their continuing commitment—not only to achieve the status, but to sustain and protect the gains they have worked hard for.

As part of its continuing commitment to strengthen anti-drug programs at the grassroots level, the CADAD–Oro Wellness Center, led by Mr. Sunny Rae Diputado Cahayag, Overseer, conducted a visitation to the hinter barangays of Tumpagon, Pigsag-an, Tuburan, Taglimao, Pagalungan, and Tagpangi.

The visitation focused on three key agenda:
✅ Consolidation of the BADAC Report Form
✅ Orientation on the SGLG Template for the Drug-Free Workplace Policy/Ordinance
✅ Guidelines for the Search for Best BADAC

The activity also provided an opportunity to discuss practical strategies and technical guidance to help barangays comply with report submissions and further strengthen the implementation of community-based anti-drug initiatives.

Through continuous coordination and collaboration, padayon ta sa pagpalig-on sa atong mga barangay toward a safer, healthier, and drug-free Cagayan de Oro City.

The final day of the 5-Day Facilitators' Training for the Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) using the Katatagan, Kalusugan, at Damayan ng Komunidad (KKDK) Module culminated in a 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦.𝗣.𝗔.𝗥.𝗞.𝗟.𝗘. (𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁), a program designed to empower recovering individuals through education, livelihood opportunities, employment support, and community reintegration.

Another highlight was the 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗖 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝘀, recognizing the vital role of Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils in promoting excellence, accountability, and best practices in implementing anti-drug programs at the grassroots level.

Together, these initiatives reaffirm our shared commitment to building stronger partnerships and creating safer, healthier, and more resilient communities.
