The SK Federation of Cagayan de Oro City successfully gathered all 79 SK Barangays for its Quarterly Assembly on June 28, 2026, at the Middleton Apartelle in Barangay Carmen.

With SK Federation President Hon. Kenneth Sacala presiding over the session, the event also brought together key partners from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Oro Youth Development Office to champion collaborative youth governance.

Moving forward, together. This mid-year assembly provided a vital space for our youth leaders to lay out their planned activities for the rest of the year. Through collaborative planning and strategic updates, the federation synchronized upcoming initiatives designed to elevate youth leadership and civic engagement across the entire city.

This Mondayโ€™s Flag Raising Ceremony was marked by a vibrant and meaningful presentation.
The SK Federation of Cagayan de Oro delivered a Festival of Festivals dance performance that showcased the rich culture, unity, and collective spirit of the 79 barangays. Each movement reflected coordination, dedication, and a shared commitment to representing the youth with pride.

More than a performance, it served as a testament to the strength of youth leadership and the continued efforts to promote cultural appreciation and community engagement.

The SK Federation of Cagayan de Oro took the lead in this morningโ€™s Flag Raising Ceremony at the City Hall, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to youth leadership and transparency. During the program, we officially presented the federationโ€™s key accomplishments and initiatives implemented throughout our term, reflecting our dedication to the development of our constituents.

The ceremony also featured a cultural performance showcasing the vibrant festivals of our city, highlighting the rich heritage and talent of the Kagay-anon youth. We were honored to have the presence of City Mayor Hon. Rolando "Klarex" Uy, the members of the 21st City Council, and the various SK Chairpersons and Kagawads from our different barangays.

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this event. As we move forward, the SK Federation remains steadfast in its mission to serve with integrity and passion for the benefit of Cagayan de Oro.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Cagayan de Oro City convened all 79 SK Barangays for its Quarterly Assembly, held on February 21, 2026, at the Barangay Carmen Hall.

The meeting was presided over by SK Federation President Hon. Kenneth Sacala, and was attended by DILG City Director Ellaine Depaur, along with representatives from various youth-serving organizations and partner institutions, including Oro Youth, the National Youth Commission, the PYAP, the 4-H Club, and other stakeholders supporting youth development initiatives in the city.

The assembly served as an official platform for updates, coordination, and the alignment of programs and initiatives aimed at further strengthening youth engagement and leadership across the city. ๐Ÿ’™
