Together, We Stand Against Human Trafficking. 💙


Today, The Women Ministry of the Archdiocese of Cagayan De Oro, proudly joined the observance of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons 2026
reaffirming our commitment to protect human dignity, uphold the rights of women and children, and strengthen our partnership in preventing human trafficking.

This activity reminded us that awareness leads to action, and united efforts create safer communities for everyone.
Let us continue to be voices for the vulnerable, advocates for justice, and instruments of hope.

Empowering Students to Stand Against Human Trafficking ✨

From July 22–24, 2026, the RIACAT-VAWC X successfully conducted the Human Trafficking Awareness Orientation for Junior High School Students at Pedro “Oloy” N. Roa National High School.

Through this three-day learning initiative, 100 Grade 7 and Grade 10 students gained valuable knowledge on recognizing the risks of human trafficking, protecting themselves and others from exploitation, and promoting safe and informed communities.

Resource persons from DSWD Field Office X, BALAOD Mindanaw, and the Commission on Filipinos Overseas discussed the key provisions of Republic Act No. 11930 (Anti-OSAEC and Anti-CSAEM Act) and introduced essential reporting mechanisms, including the 1343 Actionline.

RIACAT-VAWC X extends its heartfelt thanks to School Principal Ms. Love C. Mandawe, Program Coordinator Ms. Cristina Simbahon, and the entire PN Roa National High School community for their meaningful partnership and support.

Together, we continue to equip young people with knowledge, strengthen their resilience against exploitation, and build safer communities for all. 🩵
