Kapag hindi nabayaran ang amilyar (Real Property Tax), maaaring magkaroon ng seryosong problema sa lupa o property mo. Narito ang mga posibleng mangyari:
Magkakaroon ng Penalty at Interest
Habang tumatagal na hindi bayad ang amilyar, nadadagdagan ito ng penalties at monthly interest hanggang lumaki ang utang.
Hindi Makakapagproseso ng Dokumento
Maaaring hindi maasikaso ang:
Transfer of Title
Pagbenta ng property
Bank loan o mortgage
Building permit at ibang legal documents
Magkakaroon ng Tax Delinquency Notice
Magpapadala ang LGU o munisipyo ng notice bilang paalala na may hindi nababayarang buwis ang property.
Posibleng Ma-annotate ang Property
Maaaring magkaroon ng legal record o annotation na may tax delinquency ang lupa o bahay.
Maaaring Isubasta ang Property
Kapag matagal na hindi nabayaran, may kapangyarihan ang local government na ipa-auction o isubasta ang property para mabawi ang utang sa buwis.
Dagdag Problema sa Mana o Hatian
Kung minanang lupa ito, mas lalong hahaba at gugulo ang proseso ng settlement at pagpapatitulo kapag may unpaid amilyar.
Posibleng Lumaki ang Gastos sa Hinaharap
Mas mahal ang hahabuling bayarin kapag pinatagal kumpara sa regular na pagbabayad kada taon.
Mas mabuting maagapan agad ang amilyar para maiwasan ang legal at financial problems sa property.

In accordance with the mandate of the Provincial Treasurer to efficiently administer and collect local taxes, fees, and other revenues for the Provincial Government, the Provincial Treasurer’s Office, headed by Mr. Ronald Jame D. Violon, CPA, REB, REA, MDMG, successfully collected the Province’s share from the Real Property Tax remitted by PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority amounting to ₱29,428,201.82 for the General Fund and ₱84,080,576.62 for the Special Education Fund (SEF).

Through this initiative, the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental further strengthens transparency, accountability, and sound fiscal management, ensuring that public funds are properly administered and utilized for programs and services that directly benefit its constituents.

Misamis Oriental continues to achieve strong fiscal performance, with over P184 million in local collections recorded from January to April 15—a 34% increase compared to last year. Provincial Treasurer Ronald Jame Violon attributed the growth to strengthened collection strategies and revenue initiatives led by Governor Juliette Uy.
