Camp Edilberto Evangelista, Patag, Cagayan de Oro City โ The Armor Division Annual General Inspection Team led by Colonel Norberto P. Aromin Jr., Division Inspector General, as the Head of the Mission conducted Annual General Inspection (AGI) for Calendar Year (CY) 2026 to the 4th Cavalry (Karangalan) Company (Separate), Armor Division, Philippine Army on July 22-23, 2026.
The Team Karangalan led by Captain Ma. Lily Teresa A. Salazar, Commanding Officer, warmly received the inspection team.
The activity was conducted to evaluate the company's operational readiness, mission accomplishment, resource management, personnel morale and discipline, and compliance with the Armor Division's Command Guidance, policies, and established standards.
The inspection included a comprehensive review of administrative records, operational documents, and functional offices to validate the unit's efficiency and adherence to prescribed procedures. As part of the evaluation, the inspection team also assessed the company's emergency preparedness through a surprise fire drill, highlighting the unit's responsiveness and commitment to maintaining safety and operational readiness.
To further assess leadership and personnel welfare, the Division Inspector General conducted a "Talk to Troops" session, providing soldiers with an opportunity to share concerns, offer feedback, and affirm the effectiveness of the company's leadership and management practices.
The activity concluded with an exit conference, during which the AGI Secretariat presented its findings, observations, and recommendations.These will serve as a guide for the company in strengthening its operational capability, enhancing organizational performance, and sustaining excellence in the performance of its mission.
The successful conduct of the AGI CY 2026 reflects the Armor Division's unwavering commitment to accountability, professionalism, and continuous organizational improvement, ensuring that all subordinate units remain mission-ready and capable of delivering responsive and effective service in support of the Philippine Army's mandate.
In conclusion, the Team Karangalan assured the AGI Team that the 4Cav Coy (S) will remain steadfast in addressing the observations and recommendations to enhance the unitโs leadership, personnel discipline, system and resource management, thereby strengthening operational readiness, mission accomplishment, and excellence.
