Canitoan is located about six (6) kilometers southeast of the commercial centers of Cagayan de Oro, and about 15 โ€“ 20 minutes drive boarding a public utility vehicle. It has a total land area of 134 hectares more or less of widely stretched plains and plateaus abounding some areas.
