NFA Region 10 Holds Coordination Meeting with Contracted Rice Millers

The NFA Region 10 convened a coordination meeting with its contracted rice millers to strengthen collaboration and ensure the efficient implementation of milling operations across the region.

The meeting was presided over by Regional Manager Miguel S. Tecson , with the participation of ARM Onde , Regional Office Section Heads and representatives from NFA Region 10's contracted rice millers.

Discussions focused on operational updates, milling schedules, quality standards, compliance with contractual obligations, and other concerns essential to maintaining the timely processing and availability of quality rice stocks. The meeting also provided an avenue for open dialogue, enabling both NFA and its milling partners to address challenges and reinforce their commitment to delivering efficient and reliable services.

Through continued coordination and partnership, NFA Region 10 remains committed to strengthening its rice supply operations in support of food security and the agency's mandate.

Nagtipon ang NFA Bukidnon Branch Management Committee upang pagtibayin ang mga direktibang tinalakay sa Region 10 Management Committee Meeting noong July 15, 2026, at pag-isahin ang mga plano para sa nalalapit na Main Crop Harvest Season ng palay.

Sa pamamagitan ng maayos na pagpaplano at matatag na koordinasyon, patuloy na pinatitibay ng NFA Bukidnon ang kahandaan ng ahensya upang matiyak ang episyenteng pagbili ng palay, mapangalagaan ang sapat na buffer stock, at maihatid ang de-kalidad na serbisyo sa ating mga magsasaka at mamamayang Pilipino. ๐ŸŒพ

Nagsagawa ng Rice Planting Immersion Activity ang ilang kawani ng NFA Lanao del Norte Branch Office bilang tugon sa inisyatibo ng administrasyon at pamunuan ng National Food Authority.

Layunin ng aktibidad na ito na mabigyan ang mga kawani ng mas malalim na pag-unawa sa proseso ng pagtatanim ng palay at sa mga hamong kinahaharap ng ating mga magsasaka. Higit pa rito, naging makabuluhang karanasan ito para sa mga empleyado na personal na maranasan at makabahagi, kahit sa maikling panahon, sa sipag, tiyaga, at sakripisyong inilalaan ng mga magsasaka upang matiyak na may pagkain sa hapag ng bawat pamilyang Pilipino.

Nagsagawa ang NFA Misamis Oriental Branch ng pagtitimbang ng mga by-products na naibenta sa pamamagitan ng pampublikong subasta mula sa mga rice millers, alinsunod sa NFA SOP No. OP-MPO2-2026.a.

Pinangunahan ang aktibidad ng mga miyembro ng NFA Disposal Committee sa presensya ni COA Auditor Maria Cecille A. Dosdos upang matiyak ang maayos at tamang pagpapatupad ng mga alituntunin sa disposisyon ng mga by-products. Ang pagtitimbang ay isinagawa bilang bahagi ng beripikasyon ng aktuwal na dami ng mga naibentang by-products bago ang turnover sa nanalong buyer (Proponent) na si Hernesio C. Palange of H Palange Rice mill.

Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, patuloy na isinusulong ng NFA ang transparency, accountability, at wastong pamamahala sa disposisyon ng mga by-products.
