Leadership in Motion: NFA Region X Marks a New Chapter Through Executive Turnover Ceremony
NFA Region X ushered in a new chapter of leadership as it formally conducted its Turn-Over Ceremony of Branch Executives on June 1, 2026, highlighting the organization's commitment to continuity, excellence, and responsive public service.
The ceremony marked the official reassignment and assumption of responsibilities among key executives across the region's branch offices.
In the Bukidnon Branch Office, Ms. Mellany M. Vento formally assumed the position of Assistant Branch Manager, succeeding Ms. Rhodnalyn T. Manlawe, who had been serving in an acting capacity. Meanwhile, Ms. Hazel S. Hoke officially took over the role of Acting Branch Manager from Ms. Ma Chere M. Buyante.
Leadership transitions also took place in the Lanao del Norte Branch Office, where Ms. Kharren A. Retiza formally assumed the position of Acting Branch Manager, succeeding Ms. Hazel S. Hoke.
In the Misamis Oriental Branch Office, Ms. Ma Chere M. Buyante assumed the position of Branch Manager, taking over the responsibilities previously held by Ms. Kharren A. Retiza.
The ceremony served not only as a formal turnover of responsibilities but also as a recognition of the dedication, commitment, and valuable contributions of the outgoing executives in their respective assignments. Certificates of Appreciation were presented in honor of their exemplary service and leadership.
In his Special Message, Regional Manager II Miguel S. Tecson emphasized that leadership transitions are opportunities for growth and organizational renewal. He encouraged the incoming executives to lead with integrity, accountability, and a deep commitment to public service while inspiring their respective teams to pursue excellence in every undertaking.
The Regional Office also expressed its gratitude to NFA Administrator Larry R. Lacson for his trust, guidance, and unwavering support in strengthening the organization and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the agency. His leadership continues to inspire NFA officials and employees in carrying out the agency's mandate of ensuring food security and serving the Filipino people.
