TRAFFIC SCHEME: HIGALAAY FESTIVAL 2026
Usa ka mahigalaon nga pahinumdom pagbalik sa atong mga Higala alang sa Grand Launching sa Cagayan de Oro Higalaay Festival 2026 nga mahitabo ugmang adlawa Agosto 6, 2026:
Atong gipahinumdoman and tanan nga magmapailubon ug magtinabangay.
Atong nasabtan nga kini mahimong hinungdan sa pipila ka kahasol, apan ang atong kooperasyon ug pagsabot gipasalamatan pag-ayo. Gusto lang nato nga masiguro nga ang tanan adunay usa ka makalingaw ug halandumon nga kasinatian sa Grand Launching sa Cagayan de Oro Higalaay Festival 2026.
Palihog nalang ug lantaw sa atong mapa nga gilakip alang sa dugang kasayuran. Daghang salamat.
Please be informed of the Temporary Special Traffic Scheme to be implemented during the Grand LAUNCHING of Higalaay Festival 2026 on August 6, 2026, from 3:00PM β 11:00PM at Rio de Oro Boulevard, to wit;
1. Venue of the Grand Launching of Higalaay Festival 2026
1.1 The venue of the Grand Launching of Higalaay Festival 2026 shall be at the Rio de Oro Boulevard bounded by Marcos Bridge (beneath of the bridge) and Julio Pacana St. β Puntod Entrance.
2. Entrance and Exit of Service Vehicles
2.1 The Entrance of service vehicles (VVIPs and VIPs β City Officials, Department Managers, Officers-National Agencies, visitors and guests) shall proceed passing at North Abellanosa Street towards the boulevard, then turn right at the Boulevard and proceed to designated parking spaces at the back of the stage, while the Exit shall be from the boulevard, turn left to South Abellanosa Street and proceed to its destinations;
2.2 The Entrance of Service vehicles (Punong Barangay, Staff-National agencies and other visitors) shall proceed passing at North Abellanosa Street towards the Boulevard, then turn left at the boulevard and proceed to designated parking spaces, while the Exit shall be from the boulevard, turn right to South Abellanosa Street and proceed to its destinations;
2.3 The Entrance of Service vehicles (Barangay Officials and Staff and other visitors) shall proceed passing on either side of JR Borja Street and Borja Bridge towards the entrance of the boulevard and proceed to designated parking spaces, while the Exit shall be from the boulevard, turn right to Montalban Street and proceed to its destinations.
3. Traffic Regulations
3.1 Designated Parking spaces for the Service vehicles of VVIPs and VIPs- City Officials, Department Managers, Officers-National Agencies, visitors and guests shall be located at the back portion of the stage in diagonal position at one side and parallel position at the opposite side along the boulevard;
3.2 Designated Parking spaces for the Service vehicles of Punong Barangay, Staff- National Agencies and other visitors shall be located at the portion of the boulevard from South side beneath the Marcos Bridge to the boundary of Higalaay Festival Market in diagonal position at one side and parallel position at the opposite side along the boulevard;
3.3 Designated Parking spaces for the Service vehicles of Barangay Officials and Staff and other visitors shall be located at the portion of the boulevard from BURGOS Borja Sts. entrance towards the corner of Montalvan Street;
3.4 Designated Parking spaces for the Emergency Vehicles of COCPO, CDRRMD, BFP and Task Force Oro shall be located potions of boulevard at Burgos- Borja Sts. entrance, beneath the Marcos Bridge and Puntod entrance;
3.5 No Parking shall be imposed on both sides along Burgos Street bounded by JR Borja St. and South/North Abellanosa Sts. and along South/North Abellanosa Sts. on both sides bounded by the boulevard and Magsaysay St. and Manuel Vega St.;
3.6 One-way Traffic Flow shall be imposed along Burgos St. from Borja St. to Montalvan St. and No Left Turn shall be imposed from Yacapin St. to Burgos St. and from Mabini St. to Burgos St.
4. Entrance and Exit of Audience/ General Public
4.1 Audience and the general public shall take their entrance and exit either at Puntod entrance towards the venue.
5. Deployment of Traffic Enforcers
5.1 The RTA shall deploy more or less 80-Traffic Enforcers at different strategic locations of the venue and its vicinities.
Further, the RTA shall be allowed to implement immediate adjustments to the abovementioned special traffic scheme as deemed necessary to ensure the success of the Grand Launching.
