Coordination Meeting on the Finalization of LPTRP Routes

A coordination meeting was held with the Cagayan de Oro Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) and the Transport Cooperative Sectors for the finalization of selected routes from Barangay Iponan to Barangay Bugo, and vice versa, pursuant to the approved Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).

As agreed during the meeting, the identified routes will undergo a “dry run” implementation on or before March 15, 2026.

The pilot implementation aims to evaluate operational efficiency, route performance, and overall service delivery prior to full-scale rollout.

The activity was spearheaded by Rodger M. Zerna, CID Cooperative Program Coordinator, together with Benedicto Y. Ramiro, Acting Assistant Department Manager for Operations of RTA, and Marianne Ulep of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Region 10 (LTFRB-10).

This initiative reinforces the City Government’s commitment to implementing a structured, data-driven, and commuter-focused public transportation system in alignment with national transport modernization policies.
