NMMC Medical Social Work Department celebrates Filipino Social Work Day through a meaningful Mangrove Planting Activity and fellowship games held last June 12, 2026, at Brgy. Baybay, Alubijid🌱🎉

The activity reflects our commitment not only to serving people but also to protecting and preserving our coastal environment for future generations. Alongside the mangrove planting, fellowship games strengthened teamwork, camaraderie, and unity among staff as we continue our mission of compassionate community service.

Together, we plant seeds of hope, resilience, and environmental stewardship while creating lasting memories through fun and fellowship.

In solemn observance of the Holy Week, please be informed that the Outpatient Department (OPD) will be CLOSED from April 2 (Thursday) to April 5 (Sunday), 2026.
✨️‼️EMERGENCY ROOM SERVICES ARE STILL AVAILABLE 24/7‼️✨️

Regular clinic operations will resume on April 6 (Monday), 2026.

For emergency concerns, patients are advised to proceed directly to the Emergency Department, which remains open 24/7.

World Social Worker’s Day is a significant occasion that recognizes the invaluable contributions of social workers in promoting social justice, empowerment, and the overall well-being of individuals and communities. In celebration of this event, the NMMC Medical Social Work Department conducted a series of activities from March 16–19, 2026, to highlight the dedication and compassion of Medical Social Workers. The weeklong celebration featured various programs, including patient consultations, stress management sessions, interactive activities, and a community outreach initiative. These activities were designed not only to provide support and services to patients and watchers but also to foster appreciation, unity, and collaboration among stakeholders.
