The mission of Calamba Doctors’ College Learning Resource Center is to support its curricular programs through acquisition of quality book and non-book materials in line with the institutional objectives of providing quality education. esearchers. VISION
The Calamba Doctors’ College Library envisions to become a leading College Learning Resource Center in all types of information sources in the field of medical allied, education and other business courses. It also aims for a reliable, rapid access, easy retrieval, transfer of relevant information to its users and establish linkages with other academic libraries globally. GOALS & OBJECTIVES
In line with its Mission and Vision, the CDC LRC shall attain the following goals and objectives:
• To provide relevant and updated information sources necessary to support the curricular, recreational, and professional needs of the clienteles;
• To establish and monitor the collection for optimal use and effective libray service delivery;
• To instruct users in basic library skills and to assist them in making effective use of information using many formats so that they can make optimum use of the library; and
• To encourage students, faculty, staff and other prospective clients to continue their growth and development through the use of resources and services of the library. PHILOSOPHY
The Calamba Doctors’ College Learning Resource Center believes in providing relevant and up-to-date information and information sources supportive to the four fold function of the College carried out through instruction, research, extension and production.
