"Noong una, hindi ko alam ang tungkol sa ECC. Pero nung nalaman ko na, maganda pala ang benefits ng ECC. Madali silang lapitan; maayos at mabait ang mga staff. Higit sa lahat, bukas-palad silang tumutulong sa mga kagaya ko na naaksidente sa trabaho."

Sa ilalim ng EC Program, nakasisiguro ang bawat manggagawa ng proteksyon at kaukulang benepisyo sakaling magkasakit o maaksidente dahil sa trabaho.

Ibig sabihin, kung mapapatunayan na ang iyong sakit ay dulot ng iyong trabaho o working conditions, maaari ka pa ring mag-claim ng EC benefits.

LOOK 📷: ECC extends cash assistance to a worker recovering from stroke

Lito Amacio, a production operator from Calamba who suffered from a work-related stroke, received Php 10,000 cash assistance from the Employees’ Compensation Commission today, May 7, 2026, at its Regional Extension Unit in Calabarzon.

Aside from the cash assistance, Amacio also received EC sickness and permanent partial disability benefits following the incident.
