Monthly Salary: PHP 23,399 + 2,000 PERA
Education: High School Graduate or Completion of relevant vocational / trade course Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
Training: 4 hours of relevant training
Eligibility: Electrician (Building Wiring) (-250 volts) (MC 11, s. 96- Cat I.)
Place of Assignment: ECC Head Office – Makati City

Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directives to prioritize the welfare and protection of Filipino workers, the Department of Labor and Employment reminds workers who might suffer job-related injuries caused by bad weather conditions are entitled to a comprehensive range of benefits and support services under the Employees’ Compensation (EC) Program of the Employees' Compensation Commission (ECC), designed to safeguard their health and financial security.

With inclement weather heightening risks across the country, ECC Executive Director Atty. Kaima Via B. Velasquez highlighted the Commission's commitment to covering workers exposed to rain-related hazards or weather-related commuting accidents.

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 19 August 2026.

Agencies delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations. Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
