Brgy. Magcamiguing Brgy. Magcamiguing is a lowland brgy. situated in the southeastern part of the Mun. of Calamba.

MISSION
MAGCAMIGUING SHALL VIGOROUSLY WORK TO FORGE TOTAL WELL-BEING OF THE PUBLIC; WHEREIN THE DELIVERY OF BASIC SERVICES ARE IMPROVED, TO PROMOTE PROGRESS THRU ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL IN THEIR PARTICIPATION AND COOPERATION IN A PRACTICAL AND SUSTAINABLE SOCIO-CULTURAL, ECONOMICAL, ECOLOGICAL AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT ENDEAVORS, AND A STRONGER COORDINATION AND LINKAGES WITH DIFFERENT AGENCIES

OF THE GOVERNMENT, NGO’s AND PRIVATE SECTORS IS FOSTERED. VISION
A COMMUNITY OF COOPERATIVE, PARTICIPATIVE, HEALTHY AND HAPPY PEOPLE WHO ARE UNITED TOGETHER FOR A COMMON PURPOSE OF ATTAINING FOOD SUFFICIENCY, MODERN FARM MACHINERIES, CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED ROADS; YET REMAINS TO BE SELF-RELIANT; LIVING IN A PEACEFUL, PROGRESSIVE AND ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD THAT HAS AFFECTED CHANGE TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT; UNDER THE SYSTEM OF DEMOCRATIC, FAIR AND HUMAN LEADERSHIP THAT SHALL ULTIMATELY RESULTS IN A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE PEOPLE.

A National Simultaneous Bamboo and Tree Planting Activity was conducted today by the Brgy. Council in partnership with the DILG Calamba, Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), DENR, Calamba-LGU and the Magcamiguing SK Council, with the theme "BUHAYIN ANG PANGANGALAGA SA KALIKASAN". The location for the activity was done at the Municipal Dumpsite to hopefully reduce flooding in the area and also to lessen the foul smell brought by the garbage in the dumpsite.
