Heavy to intense rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (San Juan, Rosario, Lobo, Padre Garcia, Taysan, Lipa, Malvar, Santo Tomas, Mataasnakahoy, Balete, Tanauan, Laurel, Talisay, Nasugbu), Zambales (Olongapo, Subic, San Marcelino, Castillejos, San Antonio, San Narciso, San Felipe, Cabangan, Botolan), Tarlac (Bamban, Capas, Concepcion) and Nueva Ecija (Gapan, San Antonio, Cabiao, San Isidro, General Tinio, Gabaldon) within the next 2 hours.

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in Metro Manila (Taguig, Pasig, Valenzuela), (Cainta, Taytay, Angono, Binangonan, Cardona), (Santa Rosa, Cabuyao), Bataan(Pilar, Balanga, Orion, Limay), Bulacan (Paombong, Malolos, Bulakan, Hagonoy, Obando, San Ildefonso, San Miguel, San Rafael, Angat), Pampanga (Candaba, Arayat), (Catanauan, Buenavista) and (Trece Martires, General Trias) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.

As of 8:00 AM today, 01 June 2026, Typhoon "DOMENG" (Int'l name "JANGMI") is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

GFA No. 1 for Region IV-A (CALABARZON)
Issued: 01 June 2026 – 6 AM

Present Weather: At 3:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon "Domeng" (Jangmi) was estimated, based on all available data, at 650 km east-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.7°N 127.3°E), with maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 160 km/h. It is moving north-northwestward at 15 km/h. The southwest monsoon is affecting Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Western Section of Visayas.
Forecast 12-Hour Rainfall: Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms

Watercourses LIKELY to be affected:

Rivers and their tributaries in the following areas:
- CAVITE - Laboc (Balsahan), Cañas, Ylang,-Ylang, Imus, and Maragondon
- QUEZON - Upper Umiray, Lower Bolbok (Lawaya), Malaking-Ilog, Iyam, Macalelon, Catanauan, Silongin Lagda, Pagsanjan, Yabahaan, Bigol, Guinhalinan, Vinas, Calauag, Pandanan, Sta. Lucia, Lugan Malaybalay, Maapon, Bucal (Lalangan), Lakayat, Tignoan, Agos, Anibawan (Polilio Island), and Upper Kilbay–Catabangan.
- LAGUNA - Pagsanjan, Pila–Sta. Cruz, San Juan, and San Cristobal.
- RIZAL: Marikina and Kaliwa.
- BATANGAS - Lian, Banabang-Molino, Pansipit, Karumpong, Rosario-Lobo and Upper Bolbok (Lawaya)

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over (Rodriguez, San Mateo, and Antipolo), Metro Manila (Valenzuela, Caloocan, Quezon City, Malabon, Navotas, Marikina, and Manila) and Pampanga (Lubao, Floridablanca, Macabebe, Sasmuan, and Masantol) within the next 2 hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in Bataan (Morong, Bagac, Abucay, and Balanga) and Zambales (Subic and San Antonio) which may persist within 2 hours and may affect nearby areas.

Tropical Cyclone Bulletin No. 13 for Typhoon DOMENG (JANGMI)
Issued: 01Jun26 – 5:00 AM

TYPHOON DOMENG SLIGHTLY DECELERATES WHILE MAINTAINING ITS STRENGTH.
-Location of Center: As of 4AM, The center of the eye of Typhoon DOMENG was estimated
based on all available data at 655 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.8°N, 127.3°E).
-Intensity: Maximum sustained winds of 130 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 160 km/h, and central pressure of 970 hPa
-Present Movement: North northwestward at 15 km/h
-Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds: Strong to typhoon-force winds extend outwards up to 500 km from the center

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) in effect:
-No Wind Signal is currently hoisted

-It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the forecast confidence cone. Refer to “Other Hazards affecting Land Areas” for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
-Typhoon DOMENG will begin moving northward starting this morning before turning north northeastward towards southern Japan. This tropical cyclone will likely exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this morning or afternoon.
-DOMENG has likely reached its peak intensity and will maintain its strength while moving over Okinawa, Japan. Afterwards, weakening trend is expected.
-Monitor the weather and take precautionary measures.
