OPLAN PAGTUGIS: CIDG CAVITE PFU APPREHENDS TOP PROVINCIAL MOST WANTED PERSON FOR AN ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT IN NAIC

NAIC, CAVITE—On June 16, 2025, a joint police operation involving the CIDG Laguna PFU Tracker Team (lead unit), the Cavite Provincial Maritime Unit, and the Naic Municipal Police Station (MPS) resulted in the arrest of a suspect at the Covered Court in Barangays Palangue 2 & 3, Naic, Cavite. This individual was the tenth (10th) most wanted person (MWP) in Cavite Province and was listed as a target for the second quarter of 2025.

The arrest was made pursuant to a warrant for sexual assault (Article 266-A(2) in relation to Section 5(B) of Republic Act No. 7610), CC No. NC-441-25, issued by the Honorable Ralph S. Arellano, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 132, Naic, Cavite, on June 11, 2025. Bail was set at Php 200,000.00.

OPLAN PAGTUGIS: CIDG LAGUNA PFU APPREHENDS REGIONAL MOST WANTED PERSON FOR AN ALLEGED FRUSTRATED MURDER IN STA ROSA CITY

STA. ROSA CITY, LAGUNA—On June 16, 2025, a CIDG Laguna PFU Tracker Team operation resulted in the arrest of a truck helper at SM Shopping Mall, Barangay Tagapo, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. This individual was the tenth most wanted person (MWP) in PRO 4A and was listed on the CIDG RFU 4A's target list of MWPs for the second quarter of 2025.

The arrest was made pursuant to a warrant (CC No. 46736-2025-C) issued by the Honorable Arturo Vergara Noblejas, Presiding Judge, Branch 105, Calamba City, Laguna, on June 9, 2025, for frustrated murder. Bail was set at Php 200,000.00.

OPLAN PAGSISIKAP: CIDG LAGUNA PFU NETS ALLEGED ESTAFA SUSPECT IN HOUSING SCAM IN CABUYAO CITY (ENTRAPMENT OPERATION)

CABUYAO CITY, LAGUNA - On June 15, 2025, CIDG Laguna PFU detectives conducted an entrapment operation targeting a suspect, alias "Rider," for the alleged crimes of estafa (Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code) and alleged violation of Republic Act No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012). The operation resulted in the suspect's arrest while receiving money from the victim for an alleged additional house or slot payment, and the seizure of evidence. The arrest took place in the Savemore parking lot, Barangay Banlic, Cabuyao City, Laguna.

The operation followed a complaint alleging that individuals falsely represented themselves as National Housing Authority (NHA) personnel in Laguna. These suspects solicited Php 15,000.00 per two houses/slots in NHA housing projects (Phases 4, 5, and 6) in La Vista De Calamba, Barangay Banlic, Calamba City, Laguna.

During the operation, the suspect informed the complainant that the alias "Rider" would collect the payment. This led to suspect's arrest after accepting money from the victim for an alleged additional payment.

The arrested suspect and seized evidence were brought to the CIDG Laguna PFU office for processing and proper disposition.

The arrest was made pursuant to a warrant for violation of Section 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), CC No. TMCR-865-16, issued by the Honorable Paul Michael T. Mejia, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 131, Trece Martires City, Cavite, on June 11, 2025. Bail was set at Php 120,000.00.

ENTRAPMENT OPERATION: CIDG QUEZON PFU BUSTS 3 FOR FALSIFIED DOCUMENTS IN LUCENA CITY ENTRAPMENT

LUCENA CITY, QUEZON—On June 13, 2025, CIDG Quezon PFU operatives conducted an entrapment operation in response to a victim's complaint. The operation, which took place at the Suarez Law Office, Quezon Avenue Extension, Barangay Gulang-gulang, Lucena City, Quezon, resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of evidence.

During the operation, undercover officers witnessed the suspects attempting to use falsified identification cards and forged signatures on legal documents to pawn a parcel of land valued at Php 500,000.00. Atty. Nazareth L. Suarez of the Suarez Law Office and two barangay officials witnessed the transaction.

The suspects and seized evidence were brought to the CIDG Quezon PFU office for processing. Charges of estafa through falsification of public documents are being prepared for filing with the Prosecutor's Office.

LUCENA CITY, QUEZON—On June 13, 2025, a joint operation involving the CIDG Quezon PFU Tracker Team (lead unit), Lucena City Police Station (CCPS), and the 2nd Quezon Provincial Mobile Force Company (QPMFC) resulted in the arrest of a suspect on Quezon Avenue Extension, Barangay Gulang-gulang, Lucena City, Quezon.

The arrest was made pursuant to warrants issued for:

a. Falsification of Public Documents (Criminal Case No. 2018-071), issued by the Honorable Christopher A. Batacan, Presiding Judge, Municipal Trial Court (MTC), Pagbilao, Quezon, on May 3, 2023 (service of sentence).
b. Swindling (Estafa) under Article 315 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Presidential Decree 1689 (Criminal Case No. 16757-G), issued by the Honorable Maria Chona Escobido Fulgar-Navarro, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 61, Gumaca, Quezon, on August 23, 2023 (bail recommended: Php 48,000.00).
c. Estafa, as amended by Republic Act No. 10951 (Criminal Case No. 172269-G), issued by the Honorable Maria Chona Escobido Fulgar-Navarro, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 61, Gumaca, Quezon, on August 23, 2023 (bail recommended: Php 30,000.00).
