On August 24, 2026, the BLGF CALABARZON Regional Selection Board conducted the interview and deliberation for the appointment of Assistant Municipal Treasurer of Catanauan, Quezon.

BLGF CALABARZON successfully conducted the Training-Workshop on the Revision and Updating of the Local Revenue Code and the Rationalization of Local Fees and Charges (Laguna Cluster) on August 3–5, 2026, at Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City, in coordination with ARIVATAS, Inc. Laguna Chapter.

The activity brought together representatives from the Municipalities of Alaminos, Famy, Lumban, Nagcarlan, Pakil, Santa Maria, Mabitac, and Rizal, Laguna, and Nasugbu, Batangas, providing an avenue to enhance their knowledge and strengthen local revenue generation and fiscal management.

The BLGF CALABARZON warmly congratulates 𝗠𝗿. 𝗭𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗢 𝗠. 𝗟𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗢 on his appointment as 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿 of Pagbilao, Quezon, and on his oath-taking held on August 6, 2026.

Despite the inclement weather, the ceremony successfully pushed through. The oath was administered by 𝗢𝗜𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗮ñ𝗲𝘁𝗲 and witnessed by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗿𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮, 𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗩, and 𝗟𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆.

The BLGF Region IV-A Assessment Team, together with 𝗠𝗿. 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗘. 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻, CMT I, BLGF Central Office, extended a courtesy visit to 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗕. 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 of Bacoor City, Cavite in connection with the System Integration Testing of the Real Property Information System (RPIS) and Computer-Aided Mass Appraisal (CAMA) under Local Governance Reform Project (LGRP) Output 3, conducted on August 4, 2026.

The activity aimed to align and enhance the current RPIS setup of the City of Bacoor, one of the LGRP pilot local government units, in support of the implementation of Republic Act No. 12001, otherwise known as the Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act (RPVARA), and its Implementing Rules and Regulations. The initiative is consistent with the law's objectives of developing a comprehensive and up-to-date electronic database of real property transactions, promoting innovative digital technologies in real property tax administration, and strengthening the capacity of local government units to generate revenues through efficient and transparent real property valuation and assessment systems.

This bureau also expresses its sincere appreciation to 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗽𝗮 and the personnel of the City Assessor’s Office for their invaluable assistance, cooperation, and support throughout the conduct of the activity.

📍 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

BLGF Region IV-A successfully conducted the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in the Municipality of Calatagan, Batangas, and the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in the Municipalities of Calatagan and Lemery, Batangas, on July 27–28, 2026.

The activity aimed to assess the performance and operations of the concerned local treasury and assessment offices, identify areas for improvement, and provide appropriate technical assistance toward the enhancement of local revenue administration and service delivery.

BLGF Region IV-A extends its appreciation to Municipal Mayor 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗼 of Calatagan, Municipal Mayor 𝗜𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗠. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗼 of Lemery, Municipal Treasurer 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮 of Calatagan, Municipal Assessor 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝘀 𝗬𝘂 of Calatagan, Municipal Assessor 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗗𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 of Lemery, and the technical staff of the concerned LGUs for their support and cooperation throughout the evaluation.

📍 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

BLGF Region IV-A successfully conducted the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in the Municipality of Nasugbu, Batangas on July 15–16, 2026, as part of its continuing efforts to strengthen local treasury and assessment administration.

The evaluation was led by 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘂 𝗤. 𝗖𝗮ñ𝗲𝘁𝗲, OIC Regional Director of BLGF Region IV-A, together with the evaluation team, in coordination with the Municipal Treasurer's Office and Municipal Assessor's Office of Nasugbu, Batangas.

This bureau extends its sincere appreciation to 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗔. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻, Municipal Mayor of Nasugbu, Batangas, for the warm welcome and unwavering support. The 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 was conducted in Magallanes on July 20–21, 2026 and in General Emilio Aguinaldo on July 22–23, 2026. Meanwhile, the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 was conducted in Magallanes on July 21, 2026, General Emilio Aguinaldo on July 22, 2026, and Mendez-Nuñez on July 23, 2026.
