The CALABARZON Regional Development Council (RDC) is convening to deliberate on key policies, programs, projects, and reports that advance the regionโ€™s development agenda and respond to emerging priorities across CALABARZON.

Among the major matters for discussion are the Regional Priority Projects and Projects for Feasibility Study Preparation for 4th Regional-National Investment Programming Dialogue, Programs and Projects for inclusion in the Updated Regional Development Investment Program 2023โ€“2028 and the full year 2025 CALABARZON Regional Development Report. The Council is also taking up sectoral concerns, including the adoption of the SEERMO Transport Analytics Platform among LGUs, the review of pre-departure expenses for official foreign travels, and additional farm-to-market road and energy regulation projects under the FY 2026 General Appropriations Act. Also on the agenda are initiatives on health and social development, including additional Private Sector Representatives and efforts addressing renal-related and other lifestyle-related diseases.

Through these discussions, the Council continues to strengthen coordination among regional stakeholders and ensure that development programs and investments remain responsive to the needs and priorities of the people of CALABARZON.

DOST-Batangas, in partnership with the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist and the LGU of San Pascual, trained the Batangas Mango High Value Growers Agriculture Cooperative (BAMAHGACO) on the standardization of ready-to-drink mango juice and value-added mango products. The initiative enhanced the cooperativeโ€™s processing, quality control, and product development capabilities, improving product consistency, shelf life, and market potential while creating additional income opportunities through diversified mango-based products.
