| Ang Strategy Framework ng Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023–2028 ay naglalaman ng strategies upang mapalakas ang ekonomiya at mapabuti ang kalidad ng buhay sa CALABARZON. Kabilang dito ang mga programa para sa edukasyon, trabaho, kalusugan, agrikultura, industriya, imprastraktura, at climate resilience upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy at inklusibong pag-unlad ng rehiyon.

Sa pamamagitan ng magkakaugnay na strategies na ito, layunin ng RDP na makamit ang mas inklusibo at matatag na pag-unlad para sa CALABARZON.

Ten agricultural-themed films from various colleges competed in SINE AGRI 2025, the first-ever film-making competition organized by the Department of Agriculture IV-CALABARZON Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Information Section (RAFIS) in Lipa City to promote greater appreciation of the agriculture sector through creative storytelling. “Ani’y Sisibol Muli” from First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities Colleges won the championship, while “Sibol” and “A Very Special Farm,” also from FAITH Colleges, placed second and third, respectively, and “Bintol ni Utoy” from Batangas State University TNEU – ARASOF Nasugbu received the People’s Choice Award. Beyond the competition, participants shared that the experience deepened their appreciation for farmers and inspired them to continue telling stories that highlight the importance of agriculture.

The Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev) joins the nation in observing Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May 2026 in support of the continuing efforts to improve government service delivery under Republic Act No. 11032, otherwise known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, which mandates the reduction of bureaucratic red tape through the streamlining of government processes.
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 818, s. 2025, declaring the month of May of every year as the National Ease of Doing Business Month, the observance serves as a platform to highlight government initiatives on regulatory reform, reduced transaction costs, and improved customer experience.

The CALABARZON Sectoral Committee on Social Development and Social Protection (SCSD/SP) is taking a stronger stand on public health as key government agencies and partners unite to address pressing birth-related challenges in the region during its Second Quarter meeting on May 14, 2026 at the Manila Metropolitan Theater.

During the meeting, the Committee endorsed to the Regional Development Council the call of the Commission on Population and Development Region IV-A to curb adolescent pregnancies through the implementation of the Commission on Population’s Comprehensive Action Plan 2025–2028. “CALABARZON has consistently recorded the highest number of teenage pregnancies in the country from 2020 to 2025,” said Ms. Jasmine Rose Osias of CPD Region IV-A. The plan highlights strategies such as strengthening reproductive health education, improving access to adolescent health services, enhancing family and community support, and promoting a whole-of-government approach to prevent adolescent pregnancies.
