The morning started strong with Mr. Chinkee Tan, the Pambansang Wealth Coach, sharing his GLOCAL Framework, inspiring our entrepreneurs to think big, think global, and grow right here in Calamba. 🌏

The afternoon was all about celebration! 🥳 We had the awarding of winners from our competitions held throughout the summit, the recognition of our top-performing barangays, and exciting raffle draws. Congratulations to all our winners and to every barangay recognized for their outstanding support and participation! 👏

🎉 Day 1 of the 3rd MSME Summit is officially in the books!

Calamba City kicked things off with a bang! Ribbon cutting, messages from key speakers, and performances from the NU Laguna Dance Troupe and Chorale set the tone for a room full of dreamers, doers, and business owners ready to grow.

Mayor Roseller H. Rizal welcomed everyone with a clear message: Calamba is here to make it EASY to start, grow, and nurture your business. Practical. Responsive. Accessible.

We also launched two game changers for our MSMEs:

📖 Calamba Business Directory, putting local businesses on the map and in front of more customers than ever.

💰 Enhanced and Inclusive Cooperatives Livelihood and Development Fund, giving every co-op and entrepreneur access to real financial support.

Big thanks to our keynote speaker, Mr. Dominic R. Tolentino Jr. of DTI, for reminding us that Calamba's MSMEs are part of a nationwide push for inclusive growth.

The afternoon kept the energy going with simultaneous sessions on gastronomy, creative industries, Product Development by Mr. Jorge Noel Wieneke, MSME Financial Window by Mr. Rob De Jesus, and digital selling through Shopee, giving entrepreneurs something for every stage of their business journey.

Here's to Day 1, and to 2 more days of learning, connecting, and celebrating our local entrepreneurs!
